Salisbury Police Department Press Releases



On March 2, 2010 at approximately 3:28 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the area of South Division Street and Carrolton Avenue for the report of a fight. Upon arrival the officers met with a juvenile male victim who advised that he had been assaulted by the two (2) below listed suspects. The victim advised that the suspects had stopped a vehicle he was traveling in and when he exited the vehicle to have them move he was assaulted. The officers were able to locate the suspects, who were positively identified by the victim and several witnesses.
ARRESTED #1: Juvenile, 12 years of age

DISPOSITION: Both suspects released to a parent

On March 2, 2010 at approximately 4:04 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police arrested the below listed suspect on an outstanding arrest warrant received by Salisbury Police charging the suspect with a prescription fraud that occurred on December 22 of 2009. On that date, the investigation revealed, the suspect forged a stolen prescription for oxycodone and attempted to fill the prescription at a local pharmacy.

On March 2, 2010 at approximately 9:29 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to Jen and Ken’s Florist located on East Main Street for the report of a burglary in progress.
Upon arrival the officers heard movement in an outbuilding and found the below listed suspects exiting the outbuilding. The two (2) suspects were taken into custody and a records check revealed that suspect # 2 was also wanted on an outstanding Wicomico County District Court Bench Warrant. There was no property taken from the business.

On March 2, 2010 at approximately 10:02 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police arrested the below listed suspect on an outstanding arrest warrant received by Salisbury Police charging the suspect with second degree assault. On February 4, 2010, Officers met with an adult male victim who advised that he had been assaulted by the below listed suspect during a domestic argument. The assault occurred in a residence on the seven hundred (700) block of Delaware Avenue and the victim did not require medical attention.
ARRESTED: Ashley Denise Williams, 21 years of age

CHARGES: Second degree assault
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking

On March 3, 2010 at approximately 12:11 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the WaWa Store on South Salisbury Boulevard for the report of a disorderly subject refusing to leave the store. Upon arrival the officers met with store employees who advised the officers that the below listed suspect was refusing to leave the store after being asked to do so. The officers attempted several times to have the suspect leave without success.
