Conservative Held Captive In Chicago

Hi Joe,

I'm Ed Hayes and I work with him here in Iraq, in fact I sit right next to him
and he advised me about your successful website.

I am a retired Chicago educator and have a rather passionate take on the smoke,
mirrors, and misdirection coming out of Chicago.

This story, as cute as it is does nothing but deflect folks from the reality of
a failed system run by one of Mayor Daley's former bagmen.

The horror of the story is that Duncan is parading around as though he and his
methods actually improved schools and helped kids.

They didn't, indeed a case can easily be made that he made bad things worse.

In Chicago, he's considered a joke, but a joke imposed on us by a totalitarian
mayor, so he got away with posturing and pretending. If you are anointed by 'da
Mayor' you are Teflon coated. We're glad he's gone.

The only reason he sits as US secretary of ed is because he is friends with
Nobel Peace Prize winners.

Check out my perspective on Education, but warning: Eat Your Wheaties first.
