Incident: Bomb Threat
Date of Incident: 24 February 2010
Location: 32000 Campus Drive, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Pending

Narrative:
On 24 February 2010 at 5:30 PM, the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office was called to Wor- Wic Community College for a reported bomb threat. A member of the cleaning crew found a hand written note inside a women’s lavatory on the campus that stated a bomb was set to go off later that evening in a campus building.

The Administration of Wor-Wic Community College initiated an evacuation of the campus and buildings were screened using explosive detection dogs from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office, Ocean City Police, Pocomoke Police and the Dorchester Sheriff’s Office. The Maryland State Fire Marshall’s Office also assisted in this investigation.

After an extensive search, no evidence of any explosive devices was found. At this time the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office is investigating this as a hoax and is asking anyone with information to please call the Sheriff’s Office at 410-548-4891 or Crime Solvers at 410-548-1776.

I will be making a complaint to the Sheriff's Office over a Dodge SUV with K9 explosive team written on it was running cars off of the road, assuming it was heading to this event. Although it had it's lights and sirens on, I didn't have time to get off of the road and out of the way. I don't know who was driving it but if I hadn't gotten out of the way quickly, he would have rear ended me. This is rediculous and I'm suprised that the driver made it there safely. A dead man saves nobody and this guy was TOTALLY out of control! What the heck were they thinking???? As long as they get the people out of the building, let the damn bomb go off! Don't KILL someone getting there!

Thanks Joe! I knew we could count on you to keep us informed. I just hope President Hoy will do the same for the students.

@10:59

Quit your complaining, the lights and siren mean get out of the way NOW, not when ever you feel like it or whenever you have a chance.

The officer was responding to a potentially dangerous situation involving hundreds of people, so I quess he didn't have time to think about your fragile sensibilities.

To think that someone is going to have to deal with you whining is infuriating, especizally when you dont know what your talking about. Here's a hint, YOU WERE IN THE WRONG NOT THE POLICE!!! Next time get out of the way!!

I saw the same car and he was out of control. THAT was NOT safe driving. He's going to kill someone. HE was driving like a maniac. I also didn't have a moments notice to get out of his way until the last second. He had to be driving over 100 mph easily.
12:11, you must be either him or his wife to say something like that. YOu didn't see the way that maniac was driving. How in the hell was he going to save anyone when he was going to kill either himself or an innocent driver. AND FURTHERMORE...IS HE A BOMB EXPLOSIVES EXPERT???? IS HE GOING TO DISARM AN ALLEGED BOMB?? OR just find it with his doggie? NO, I don't think so, more like just confirm "if" there's a bomb, and then call in a real bomb disarming team. AND he wouldn't find a bomb if he doesn't make it there or KILLS someone in between!!!!
10:59, you should make a complaint. He needs to be reprimanded for that idiotic, reckless driving!!!

I'm guessing that if you were there, you would have wanted him to get there as fast as possible. Quit whining and let them do their jobs. People must have nothing better to bitch about.
