Training Center

Joe....the following link will take you to a power point presentation relating to the Foriegn Affairs Security Training Facility proposed to be built in Queen Annes County. I understand that the proposed location is an old toxic waste site. Regardless, I can't see training out in rural USA with all the military bases available that Clinton closed. If those to be trained are foriegners, I can't see training them at all.

The closed military bases are now Fema Camps.

Soon, there will be other needs for them.

The closed bases didn't meet there needs. By law they had to check that first. 2nd the men and women to train there are all US citizens.

Whaaat? The proposed site is NOT an old toxic waste dump. I think the writer is confused about a site in Frederick that was under consideration.

See http://www.state.gov/recovery/fastc/ or http://wordpress.centreville-md.net/?p=1480 for more info.

BTW, There is plenty of room at Aberdeen Proving Ground or Ft. A.P.Hill for something like this and they WILL train foreign nationals there.

Like it or not Somerset County is in the running (FACT) WOOOO!

That's good. The unemployment rate is much higher on the lower shore than it is here in Queen Anne's County.
