Even the ones that knew the contract had been signed and did not speak up should be prosecuted.
I'm so thankful for Cohen and Campbell for being such good stewards of our city. They should receive the highest awards.
We already know the city way overspent for this equipment. Somebody here posted that a city in Illinois(?) paid the same for a dump truck AND a large pickup.
Let's send the truck back, since the contract is void. Then we can offer to "help" the dealer by purchasing it legally for a more realistic price. The dealer can figure out who is liable for the difference.
Cohen and Campbell are the only ones on Council with intelligence and focus on the issues before them.

Where's the "smoking pen"? By that, I mean the purchase order. The person who executed the PO should be burning up the phone lines finding a lawyer that will defend them.
And no, the city should not bear the costs of defending this person because they knowingly violated the statutes in place.
If you will knock out the underpinnings of a corrupt government, it cannot function. Insist that the bureaucracy in place has to answer to the law the same as any other segment of society. Then the idiots on top will tumble when they no linger have the means to manipulate the system.
Why go after the bureaucracy, you say? They aren't elected, they are hired and fired like the majority of the world. And I don't want to hear any SEIU crap either, screw up, move out.

Fruitland council needs to read the MD code. Or maybe the attorney can read it to them. He's running the town anyway. And how much is that costing us taxpayers annually?
Thanks Terry and Debbie. Citizens should be outraged. Do you allow people to sign documents for you without your knowledge or permission. Louis Smith and Mr. Wilber have done that several times. Do the people of Salisbury undertand that is a CRIME, with, or without a government it is a crime.If I signed your name on a debt paper it would be a crime right...Louise signed on behalf of the Council, and the citizens of Salisbury, so did Wilber. Is it a crime...you bet it is. 100% why are we acting like it isn't. Someone please file with the State prosecutor, if he hesitates, call for his job too.
