College Students Vehicles Blocking Hall And Frances Dr's.

It's bus 50 that couldn't get down Hall. Now she's called in saying she had to end up backing down the street. The bus that does Frances Dr. just called out to her asking if he can get down her road....she said it all depends if the college kids go to school....it's their vehicles that are blocking the road.

Now, if a school bus can't get down these two roads...a fire truck wouldn't be able to either!!

i used to live in that neighborhood and college kids are why we moved. they destroyed property smoked pot outside, urinated in our front yard and threw trash everywhere. beer bottles and cans abound. so glad to be gone. the cars would park right in our driveway or block it and unless you knew where to find the person who left the car in the first place you are out of luck. ive had tire tracks across my front sidewalk after a party night.

9:43 Sounds a little embelished to me, glad you're gone!

Regardless of who's cars they are they should be towed. Dont be so qucik to always conclude that students are to blame.

There should have been an officer and a tow truck there immediately. Theres no excuse for it!

10:04 actually it was an understatement.

10:04 lets ask the guy at the end of the street that had to put stakes in the grass and a huge fence at his expense to keep the kids from doing donuts in the empty lot next to his house if he thinks its embellished or my neighbors across the street that called the cops sometimes twice a night.

Actually Salisbury Fire department wouldn't have any trouble they'd just ram em' heck with their track record I don't want any of my cars within miles of some of those guy's.

If the cars are parked legally, right side tires within a foot of the curb, there is no reason a bus or firetruck shouldn't be able to get through. If they are not, tow'em Danno!

10:04, I know that wasn't embellished. That is the same thing the University says. How do you know they are college students? Let's not be stupid. 99% of the people that live in that neighborhood besides older people are students. They vandalize, disturb the peace, and have no respect for the community. I live in Fruitland, and now that Salisbury passes 4 to 2, we are getting an influx of loud obnoxious students. They are outside hooping and hollering till 2 in the morning, clogging up the streets adjacent to theirs because their driveways won't hold all of their partygoers, park in front of our mailboxes so we don't get delivery, burn when they are not allowed, etc. I used to think Salisbury residents were complaining a lot, but now I understand.

10:04 How do you know it's not college students who the vehicles belong to? If you know that neighborhood you'll know most of it is student rentals. For those single family homes, for the most part they are of ages who work. At that time of the morning adults who have jobs are on the way to work. Responsible adults would also come at least come outside to see why a bus driver is blowing it's horn.

5:06 they aren't parked legally right now due to the mounds of snow

1) Where else can the college kids party? Can't on campus, can't in the apartments.

2) Where else can the college kids park? Parking garage helped, but the problem is only going to get worse.

"Don't care not my problem" is the exact same thing the college kids are thinking when they are pissing in your bushes.
