At 1:30 P.M. today, Charles R. “Chip” Dashiell, Jr., convened the first County-City Planning & Zoning Commission meeting with Mr. Dashiell as chair. In January, Mr. Dashiell was nominated to the key leadership post by Wicomico County Executive Richard M. Pollitt, Jr., and Salisbury Mayor James Ireton. Both the Salisbury City Council and the Wicomico County Council unanimously approved the nomination.
Mr. Dashiell succeeds Corinne LesCallette who led the Planning & Zoning Commission since 1983. She recently announced her retirement from the Commission on which she served since 1978.
Mr. Dashiell is the president of the law firm of Hearne & Bailey, P.A. He also is the chair of the Greater Salisbury Committee and served on the Wicomico County Council from 2002-to-2006.

He's just what Salisbarrie needs in charge of its growth and development -- someone who lives in an exclusive (gated-?) subdivision in the County. And does he still own rental property in the City?

time will tell if he is being lead around buy Phil Tilghman, who many suspect, has a ton of influence with Rick, or has a mind of his own. He never displayed his own thoughts when he was on the council. The City and Council should each have independant Planning and Zoning boards. No other Municipality in the county has a seat at the table...

Charles R. “Lapdog” Dashiell, Jr, known as the lapdog of Phil Tilghman and the crooked Democrat Party of Salisbury and Greater Salisbury Committee. I agree with 10:59 PM he was a be ZERO when he served on the County Council. Why didn't he run again?
