Pundits on the Left are suggesting that the reason Massachusetts voters rejected Martha Coakley -- aside from her personal failings as a candidate - is that Democrats in Washington failed to pursue a sufficiently liberal agenda.
As Sen. John Kerry and the other leaders of the Massachusetts Democratic Party were still standing on stage, jaws slack and eyes vacant, commentators Chris Matthews and Rachel Maddow on MSNBC said that the vote was proof that President Obama and his team had to act urgently to jam his health care bill through Congress by any parliamentary means necessary. Maddow, astonishingly, said it had to be done in 30 days.
A Boston Globe editorial, having dismissed Brown's win as an event as common as the start of the maple syrup harvest, then picked up the argument that now was the moment for a kamikaze mission to pass the Democrats' health plan.

I said it a year ago, health care would never become a reality and it wont. A whole year spent on this bullshit and now it jobs. The president is so far out of his league he cant hide it anymore. This administration is already a complete failure.
I can't wait for November. The tea party movement will be bigger than any of us could believe only a week ago. And now good candidates are challenging races that looked like locks a week ago. Pence in Indiana. And now I saw Larry Kudlow the guy on TV that was in the Reagan administration is looking strongly at a draft movement. Obamanation may not even try to be reelected.
Why do you post on the lunacy coming from the ultra-liberal commentators but nothing on the lunacy coming from the ultra-conservatives commentaters? These people are pandering to an audience, plain and simple. Who cares what any of them think.

One year ago, they had America convinced that Republicans were in exile and that their candidates might as well hang themselves. It's still the same ol' system with the same ol' players. They'll be shoving another narrative down your throat next year.

Don't know if you were around when the Republicans took over the House of Representatives in the 90's but I was. The mood is very much the same. Total disgust of Washington and unresponsive representation there. I happen to read extensively and make up my own mind thank you very much. I understand there is corruption in both parties, however I believe that the policy put forth by Obama and the dumbo's is dangerous and hazardous to the United Statesand our Constitution. If you think there is no difference between parties then we must just agree to disagree.
