Kratovil Backs Bill That Brings Tax Relief To Small Businesses And Working Families

Washington, DC – Rep. Frank Kratovil supported the Tax Extenders Act of 2009, which extends tax relief provisions for working families and businesses to help spur job growth. The legislation will extend the R&D tax credit for nearly 11,000 businesses, provide up to 30 million homeowners with property tax relief, and provide a college tuition deduction that will make college possible for 4.5 million families.

“Tax credits that encourage innovation and education are essential for our nation’s long-term economic health. Extending these prow-growth tax credits are important to our economic recovery,” said Rep. Kratovil. “By making these targeted tax incentives a key part of our economic recovery strategy, we are creating jobs and laying the foundation for long term growth.”

it is simple, if you want to create jobs and help people, cut taxes and allow people to keep more of what they make instead of redistributing it.
