Salisbury Police Department Press Releases


On November 12, 2009 at approximately 10:07 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Community Action Team executed a search and seizure warrant at a residence on the two hundred (200) block of Records Street in Salisbury for drug violations. During the execution of the search and seizure warrant, officers found items used to package CDS and several separate quantities of suspected marijuana.

ARRESTED #1: Robin Wilehmina Clark, 23 years of age
Salisbury, Maryland

ARRESTED #2: Juvenile, 17 years of age
Essex, Maryland

CHARGES (both): Possession of marijuana
Possession of CDS/paraphernalia

DISPOSITION: Suspect # 1 released to Central Booking
Suspect # 2 released to guardian

On November 14, 2009 at approximately 9:47 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received a call to respond to the area of Fairground Drive in Salisbury for the report of an assault. Upon arrival the officers met with an adult female victim who advised that she had been assaulted by the below listed suspect during an argument. The suspect also assaulted a second adult female that was trying to assist the first victim.

ARRESTED: Marvin Huey Deshields, Jr., 41 years of age
Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES: Second degree assault (2 counts)

On November 14, 2009 at approximately 11:46 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police arrested the below listed suspect on an outstanding arrest warrant for an incident that occurred on August 24 of 2009. On that date the suspect was found to have taken a wallet from a victim at a local department store and used the gift cards contained within the wallet at different local stores.


ARRESTED: Casy Lynn Prevette, 23 years of age
Willards, Maryland

CHARGES: Theft (under $ 500)
Forgery (2 counts)

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking

On November 14, 2009 at approximately 4:00 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the municipal parking lot # 10 located at U.S. Rt. 13 and Calvert St. for the report of a disorderly female. Upon arrival the officers met with a taxi cab driver who was attempting to remove the below listed suspect from the taxi cab. The suspect was yelling at the cab driver and had struck the cab driver several times. The suspect, who was intoxicated, was removed from the cab.

ARRESTED: Peggy Anne Whitehead, 56 years of age
Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES: Second degree assault (2 counts)
Failure to obey a lawful order

On November 14, 2009 at approximately 5:11 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the Pemberton Pharmacy for the report of a prescription fraud. Upon arrival the officers found that the below listed suspect had attempted to fill a prescription for a quantity of oxycodone by presenting a forged prescription to the pharmacist.

ARRESTED: Michael Douglas Perry, Jr., 23 years of age
Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES: Attempted to obtain a prescription by forgery
Uttering a forged prescription
Uttering a stolen prescription form
Forgery of a prescription

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking

Why does the Sheriff's office catch the criminals with guns and the SPD only can take care of the minor stuff. You know why? The bunch of them are afraid and average in height about 5'-2".

2:08, yep, just busted two with guns, CDS and hollow point bullets at the corner of Baptist St. and Rt. 13 in Salisbury the other night.

Come on were talking about the blessed CAT team here! Another few questionable cases lost in court. Then blame the judges and attorneys for thier compromising to make arrests.
