Narrative: On 9-03-09 at approximately 0632 hours a Trooper Berlin Barrack stopped a white 2007 Honda Civic bearing Virginia registration XPU-8100 for exceeding the posted speed limit. 65 /55. The traffic stop occurred in the area of Route 13 southbound in the area of Winter Quarter Drive, Worcester County Maryland. Based on the odor of marijuana a probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted. The search revealed two large zip lock bags containing hydroponic marijuana which was located inside a book bag on the passenger floorboard. The total weight of the marijuana was 60.90 grams. Both occupants were arrested and transported to the Berlin Barrack. A secondary search on the female passenger produced a plastic baggie of marijuana that was located on her person. Total weight of this marijuana was 6.83 grams. The driver of the vehicle, Mitchell Jackson, was charged with Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute and the female passenger Shanel McMillian was charged with possession of marijuana. The vehicle was seized pending forfeiture proceedings and $593.00 was seized .

Bullsh*t?? - If you can't take the punishment, don't mess with weed. That's the chance you take. I'm no expert, but 61 grams is a fairly good amount that would indicate to me intent to distribute.
i completely agree with blutojthetotmom. Being arrested and having your car seized over pot? I'd like to take a poll on anyone who has never tried pot in salisbury at some time in their life-it would be slim to none!! come on people we grew up in the 50s 60s and 70s! Now if the police were doin some work to get the hard drugs off of the streets that would be a different story.
Most folks who grew up in the 50's, 60's and 70's have smoked pot. And they're lying if they deny it.
