I'm a military wife whose family has enjoyed government run healthcare/socialized medicine for over 30 years. We never had to worry that doctors were out to cheat us to make more money, that our drugs were unaffordable because they are free, that we'd not get enough care, because our doctors worked for us. Oyr doctors were able to communicate/consult with peers at the same hospital/clinic. We knew our doctors had the newest and the best since they were updated often and well. We never worried that we'd be pushed out of the system. Why can't others have the same? We fully support the healthplan suggested by our President and the few brave congress people who aren't afraid to stand up to the betseymccaugheys, dickarmeys, drug and insurance companies, and the rest. God Bless MY America!

10:51- as a military family, your health care SHOULD be the best, and free. you and your husband do a great service to the country by protecting us. but extending that to everyone would bankrupt us. Reform IS necessary, but we dont need to scrap our whole system because around 20% won't put themselves in a position where they can get health care. we have medicare and medicaide in place for those who can't provide for themsevles. your comment reminds us all of another health care option- if you truly can't afford health care, why not join the military, serve our country and get the best care possible? you would deserve free healthcare then!
