Hopefully Salisbury will look like this on Thursday morning. People have had enough. We should be just as outraged at the handling of Social Security, Immigration, and the many other social programs that are totally out of control with no end in sight. Did I mention the national debt!

Go for it!

That's a beautiful sight! And the only paid protesters there will be working for Obama.

Yes, you will scream and you will yell and out of the many robot's mouths will come not one plausible idea for an alternative and once again in what was the greatest country world, people will go without health care once again. You will scream victory and all will be well in your tiny little minds. This is the most pitiful thing I have ever seen. No discussion, nothing. Only screaming and yelling. How sad.

we have solutions and alternatives it s u libs hiding the out line by claiming we are fake See u still dont get all we are asking is that u listen but you are too good for that becasue you are better than us. We keep drinking the cool aid until you find out that is going to AFFECT you to Losers

Sure looks like the "Grassy Knoll" .

I don't understand why people think the government owes them health care anyway. Why is that a right? It's not.

Anonymous said...

where and when on thursday?

This is great. Remember Obama does not want to hear from us = he wants us to shut up and go away. He along with Pelsoi and Reid are ruining this great country for generations to come.

Anonymous said...

And the Obama brown nosing media will ignore this just like they ignored the 1,000+ at Legislative Hall in Dover on Saturday. Yes there are conservative ideas and solutions just like there was a proposal to strengthen SS. It just does not fit with what the media is willing to support and therefore report. Your main stream media is your enemy and I hope that we will soon take the "mob" to their door. If this administration gets their way the generations to come will pay the price. Many of us speaking out in an effort to prevent the Socialization of this country are getting tired of carrying water for the ignorant and their children. I just wish I could reap the rewards and you "holier than thou" ignorants could suffer the consequences you so deserve.

hey anonymous 6:38 or do you answerr to asshole? Where in the constitution does it guarantee health care for anyone??? where?? please point that out to me. And as far as no plausible alternative-
How about capitalism you moron!! Its worked for over 200 years until this administration decided to go kamikaze and kill everything in one swell swoop for some utopian paradise that only exists in his head. And besides, veryone has access to healthcare! Just go into the ER on any given night and take a look at all the illegals who are getting their healthcare for free.
So yea, so sad for you- but despite you and your liberal, do no good ideas, this country will once again be great, only when we embrace capitalism and expand it

Anonymous said...

Not a "lib". Don't confuse someone who thinks for being a "lib".. By the way where are all your solutions?

Bob said...

6:38......they're not robots. They're patriots. Americans trying as a last resort to peacefully take back their country from a tyrant government. I have an alternative plan - but I doubt it would satisty you and people who feel the same about universal healthcare. Regulate the insurance companies. NOT federal regulations but STATE regulations. The federal government has NO authority to regulate anything other than what the tenth amendment permits.

The states have the authority to put regulations in place that forbid insurance companies from dropping people who pay for insurance and then become ill. Also - a state can establish a commission that will investigate complaints without the insured being required to obtain an attorney at their own expense. While under investigation, the insured would be supplied the same healthcare as they would have received under the company being investigated. If the company is found to be in violation, they would be forced to reimburse the state for the healthcare AND the cost of the investigation in addition to a stiff fine. The insurance companies would soon get the idea that it is cheaper to live up to their obligation.

Each state would have the opportunity to create their own form of reform. I would even support regulation of pricing on a state level that would prevent greedy companies from pricing insurance above an affordable level. But NO employer contribution mandate. Healthcare is like a product or a servie. If you want it - pay for it. If not - don't. Plain and simple. Should your employer pay your car insurance too?

Meanwhile, these folks are right to oppose the federal government from getting involved in yet another issue where they lack the authority under the constitution to do so.

NO universal healthcare. NO unconstitutional federal government intervention. NO NO NO!

7:21 theres hurdle in front of us first. Were going to have to deal with that.

Anonymous said...

what hurdles?

Somebody needs to adjust the blades on that mower.

Hey "not a lib" you want solutions-
ok- how about tort reform? do we really need to pay someone 6mil because hot coffee burned her??
how about medical malpractice reform. Does a doctor really need to order 20 tests when only 2 will do? because he's afraid of getting sued.
-how about mortgage reform. Your hero B. Clinton admitted on national tv he blocked efforts for reform-but we'll save that for later. Back to basics in mortgage-can't afford it, then you don't get the loan. btw- it was Barney Franks and Chris Dodd (liberal dem's of course) who shaped the current mortgage mess by forcing banks to loan to people who couldn't afford it.
Well thats my list for starters- give me a while and compile some more for you- oh I forgot your the thinker. well, doesn't sound like it to me, because all you want to do is let "gov't" take care of you and all your problems.

Wow look, Its Middle class, hard working Americans who just happen to be the backbone of this country. I bet all of those people in the photos have a job, 2.5 kids, pay taxes, pay for health care from their employment. Yes I said "EMPLOYMENT" that is how its done, get a job and sign up for the healthcare plan. Not always the best, and yes, you have to pay for it, but IT IS YOUR HEALTH CARE PLAN.

Obamacare; means "All my people who have suffered under state benefits, disability checks, more kids more money, government housing, dont worry, you dont need to get a job, you'all go ahead and have as many little kids you want (just name them Obama), the government will provide for you because the government has kept you down"

WAK UP AMERICA !!!!!!

Look at the photos.
What do you see.
Good hard working Americans
WHO HAVE HAD IT !!!!

Right Coast,
After the total embarrassement of their "protegee" last week, they will be very very selective as to who to "apporve" in. They will bus their own people in with the help of Union guys/gals just like they tried to do in Kent County, and they still got traunced.

I don't understand why no one wants to talk about prescription drug prices........

9:10 all the more reason to attend and peacefully protest OUTSIDE.

Just because someone has the big bucks to buy their own insurance or the good luck to have an employer who provides insurance, why does that make them any better or more important than a less advantaged person to get health care? It's not right. Poor people (yes some of them work) and people whose employer chooses not to cover them have just as much right to health care as the rich ones. But most of the Republicans opposing health care reform have good insurance and don't care about anyone else's circumstances but their own.

Anonymous said...

7:10PM, What do you mean invitation only? Who are the special guests? Thanks.

Anonymous said...

The Dems aren't interested in alternative solutions-- they just talk like that to try to intimidate.
You want solutions?
Here they are in spades--HR 3400 is full of them. REAL ones, not the fascism Obama and Madame Mussolini are selling
But they will never let them see the light of day because they won't create a giant, permanent, dependent underclass
These socialists are such hypocrites-- they demand tolerance, balance, etc till they get power, then no dissenting voices are allowed.
People everywhere are absolutely fed up, and if they have to keep coming back to be heard, they're liable to be carrying ballbats and pitchforks instead of signs.

9:55 - I am far from a rich Republican but I pay almost 25% of my monthly income for health insurance. Yes, it is my choice, but not particularly what I want to do.

I don't have a right to healthcare any more than a poor person does, but consider health insurance a necessity just in case.

I am old enough to remember when health insurance was just that - insurance from big bills if something went terribly wrong - broken bones, heart disease, etc. If you had to go to the doctor because you were sick or needed a physical, you paid for it. No reimbursement, no co-pay. Prescriptions were on you also. Insurance was for the big problems only. Doctor bills were much lower propotionally because they did not have to have a big billing staff, nor did they have to pay malpractice insurance bills. With the best blue cross/shield available, I still paid for well baby visits and all my kids' shots out of pocket.

Tort reform, along with phasing out HMO's would go a long way to solving the healthcare problems we seem to have.

I am a registered Democrat and I am tired of hearing that this is Republicans that are protesting the Obama's health care plan. Somehow the message has to get out that many Democrats oppose this as well!

Anonymous said...

If the liberal progressives or what ever the Marxists are calling themselves today don't like it it's good for America!

Anonymous said...

I am sick and tired of hearing issues regarding Democrats versus Republicans. This is about Americans.

Dan said...

Tort reform, malpractice reform are two big things that can be done. Free clinics for those who qualify could possibly be worked out. The biggest thing that could make a difference is to undo the tie between insurance and employment. Congress is the one that mandated this and we see what a disaster it has become. Whenever someone changes employment, all the pre-existing conditions get excluded; over and over again.

Some people will always think that government is their only savior, how sad.

It isn't good luck to have an employer with health insurance, it is good sense. If you don't have employer provided healthcare, then you better be looking for another job that has health care. That is the way American Dream works. You work hard, do a good job, and you won't have a problem moving up and having health care. Employers only provide it to attract good workers, they are not and should not be required to provide health insurance. I for one do not want to pay for everyone else who doesn't work and contribute to have free health care on my dime.

Richard said...

Anon 7:49, you are correct, but what you are saying is falling on deaf ears.

An interesting question would be to ask everyone to look at how they voted. If you have always voted within your party, then without question you are close minded and uninformed. Neither party has always had the best candidate.

Health care does need reform or at the very least some control. But that doesn't mean this bill is or isn't the answer. But we all need to listen, ask the hard questions, then decide for ourselves what's right. When people are having to decide between food and medicine because one month's medicine costs the same as two weeks groceries for a family of four, something has to change.

I've always heard people say in economics, a person making $7 an hour cannot afford to buy an automobile from a person making $70 an hour. How do you think that transforms when the upper salary is well over $100?

There is a better way out there, but we won't find it by yelling and screaming. It will take open minds and people wanting a better solution for all!

Sarah Palin thinks a "death panel" will decide care for her parents or son. Probably not because she has the money to buy good insurance. I call it a "death panel" when you try to deny poor people access to health care because they can't afford ins. How do you expect anyone making minimum wage to afford ins.? So this so called death panel is deeming people with insurance more worthy of living than people without insurance. I'm sure people without insurance are not given all the options of surgery or expensive treatments that an insured person would be allowed.
