DNC Steals to Raise Money for Frank Kratovil

I guess “it’s for the children”.  Why else would the Democrat National Committee steal the property of an American citizen in order to raise money and sell an idea that the majority of Americans clearly don’t want?

First, the DNC puts together a commercial (see below) that portrays average citizens who oppose ObamaCare as an angry mob.  Included in that one minute spot is a photo of Rep. Frank Kratovil (D-MD) being hung in effigy.  This photo was stolen, without compensation or credit, from SbyNEWS.

That would be bad enough, but now the party of Obama is attempting to raise money from that same photo.  The DNC followed up their commercial with an email, again claiming that all those who voice opposition to ObamaCare are somehow being orchestrated by the GOP, insurance companies, the KKK, the Masons, or pick your preferred boogeyman.

Poll after poll shows that a majority of Americans simply don’t want ObamaCare.  Why does the DNC think it necessary to attack ordinary citizens who simply don’t want their health care to undergo the radical change proposed by Obama and congressional Democrats.

Stealing from citizens.  Attacking citizens for expressing their opinions.  Do Democrats really think that this is the way to win a debate?

The White House and the DNC are on the attack probably because of people like you spreading false rumors about euthanizing grandma. The white house has to spend extra effort countering all the false criticisms (not taking names of US citizens in opposition)when we could be engaging in a rigorous healthy debate about how to make health care legislation work for all of us without running up outlandish deficits. There are some great points of contention that need to be discussed; too bad the debate is being stolen by you same guys who believe Obama is a foreign muslim terrorist. People like you on the right AND the left are what keeps Congress from getting anything done half the time and wasting money on half @$$ solutions that don't get to the core of the issue other times. Stop the theatrics, stop the hyperbole, stop the circus, and lets get down to having some productive discussions about the issues.

9:11am-are you one of the "paid" Obama volunteers that I saw listed on Craigs list, make $400-550 weekly promoting health care? The democrats know how angry the people are at all the spending and now tinkering with gov't run health care because they would have passed this in August without reading a page untli some of those in office thought they might not be re-elected and postponed the vote. They and you know that they don't Republicans to pass this mess. They are now trying to soothe people at these town halls with the Pelosi-issued talking points that do nothing to guarantee grandma won't be euthanized, abortions won't be gov't funded but MOST IMPORTANTLY that this will be deficit nuetral. Try reading the bill, and before you say there is no euthanization mentioned, remember most of them are lawyers and if it's not excluded, then it's assumed to be included. If you have private or job related healthcare, read your policy and benefits book, it's nowhere 1200 pages and it lists the exclusions because trial lawyers have made the system work the way it works now.

We would all be better off if Congress left, and never came back.

On the Bill Reddish show this morning, Mayor Ireton mentioned the protest at Kratovil's office as an example of the mob mentality in politics today.

9:11 here's is a very simple scenario for you to think about. What if there was a website to go to and report your concerns about health care reform? Then a representative from the government could present all of the FACTS as stated in the bill at a national press conference, aired on several television stations and radio. That would answer a lot of the questions people have and lead to new questions that should be answered.

The kicker is that this scenario exists. Flag@whitehouse is collecting all of the info, and Obama can get on the airwaves anytime he wants. No one knows the answers to peoples questions and concerns because there are too many versions of reform, and Obama hasn't read any of them.

This entire thing needs to slow down for closer examination and further discussion.

9:32, I guess a call for an objective view of the facts can easily be considered blind support for Obama (sigh). It's no wonder you are caught up in the euthanasia hysteria. I guess you miss the fact that I blame both you loonies on the right and the left for getting us mired down in name calling and false accusations.

Please point to one thing I have written claiming that ObamaCare wants to "euthanize grandma". You can't.

However, if I wanted, I could make a hell of case that "end of life counseling" is just that.

9:46, great example of what we need. Cool headed, factual based debate of the issue. I agree that we need to slow things down and get it right. I also hope that the President modifies his strategy and steps directly into the formulation of the bill during Aug. and Sept. and makes it clear exactly where he stands on each provision and why. I am no cheerleader for the President (although I did vote for him) or the health care legislation. Just want to see action based off of good information, not the politics of fear and reaction.

This debate is bigger than you Harrison. The "euthanize grandma" comment wasn't necessarily in reference to your post, but toward past posts by those in opposition to the reform bill.

And if I am old and dying from terminal illness, I would like my coverage to handle the expense of this counseling so that I can get good advice. No one is talking about forcing the elderly to take counseling.

G.A., your second paragraph is in direct contradiction with your first paragraph. End of life counseling already happens. It's not euthanasia and you cannot make an argument that it is. In fact, if you do, then you are arguing that "Obama wants murder grandma" without facts or substantiation at all.

We have scared the $hit out of the democrates. We are tired of this crap.

If everybody is hell bent on fixing healthcare, then how come this is a pork barrell spending / Government control bill. Within 100pgs a good lawyer, since that is 95% of Congress, should be able to list solutions / corrections to the problems there are presently wrong with our healthcare and make it even better. If you have a broken finger you don't cutoff your hand. That is the problem Politians are not willing to confront.

I'm not the one who claimed that "people like you spreading false rumors" are arguing that Obama wants to "euthanize grandma". I neither claimed that the debate was centered around me or that Obama wants to kill grandma.

Anon 1010 -
There really is no contradiction. I said that I COULD make the argument. I can. I simply choose not to because I would prefer to see only one house bill and one senate bill before I start to go after specifics like "end of life counseling".

Until then, I'll stick to the basics. Government run health care will lead to rationing of care similar to what we see in the UK or Canada. If it doesn't, it will simply bankrupt our nation.

Here's what I want to know . . . Where was the outrage last November?

I didn't vote for these socialist policies, I saw this coming, and I feared back then for our country. But I heard almost no one (especially from the Republican leadership) warning the American voter that this would happen if Obama & Co. gained power.

Crying about it today is akin to closing the barn door after the cows have escaped.

I have no faith in the American voter. Baaaaah. Baaaaah. A bunch of worthless sheep.

Government healthcare(Medicare,Medicaid) has been stealing money from all of us working people every payday for years to pay for other peoples care. Now they just want to do it on a bigger scale.

9:11am-9:32am here, seems to me that you are the one incapable of rational debate. I didn't call names and said that they aren't doing anything to "guarantee that grandma won't be euthanized..." I didn't agree or disagree with anything. There are lawyers and lobbyists writing legislation who are trying to shove it down our throats before one word has been read-how's that for rational discussion. If they had their way and we hadn't stood up, it would have been voted on already. So dissent and organized or not, our voice is being heard. You claim to be in the middle but couldn't stand to judge us all as one group of "birthers" or "Obama is a muslim"-which I am neither. You can lie to yourself about not having picked a side on this debate, but you have already showed your hand. If Queen Pelosi had wanted debate and discussion, she only needs to ask, instead she tells everyone what she wants them to says and hands out talking points. The debate in my mind, though, is over-I don't want the gov't no matter how well intentioned in my healthcare. Period. In the end, they have proven time and again it will cost more than promised and it will not deliver better care than the current system even though it will be more expensive.

Perhaps if someone had not put it on their web-site there would be nothingto steal! If you had a bit of common sense you would have known posting this picture played right into the "lefts" hands and gave them the amunition needed to further their cause. Why not sue them if you are so upset.

If they actually stole it why don't you just sue them?
