Club For Growth Launches Protest Video Blog
America: "We've had enough!"
Washington – As Members of Congress return home this month to push for government-run healthcare, their constituents are responding with a clear message: "We've had enough!" The Club for Growth will be there to capture and post all available video footage – from town hall meetings to Presidential protests – in one central location with a new video blog.
"President Obama and his Congressional allies are overreaching," said Club President Chris Chocola. "We’ve already posted dozens of videos from across the country, and they show that government-run healthcare is not what Americans thought they were voting for last November."
The new video blog is preceded by this week’s launch of the Club’s $1.2 million ad campaign to highlight the dangers of government-run healthcare. The ads, available here, will run throughout the August recess in Nevada, Colorado, Arkansas, and North Dakota, and could be expanded to other states as the debate unfolds.
"The American people know what government-run health care means: higher costs, fewer choices, more bureaucracy, and bigger deficits," added Chocola. "If you're concerned about government-run healthcare, you're not alone. Visit our website to see what others are saying across America.”
