HEBRON PUBLIC HEARING POSTPONED

"An internal review of our comphrensive plan has found adjustments and clairifications that need to be made before accepting public comment. Therefore, the public hearing scheduled for Friday July 31st, 2009 at 7pm has been postponed to a future date.

It is the Town of Hebron's desire to provide accurate, clear and consise information to the public and other commenters and these adjustments are necessary for us to achieve our goal. A new hearing will be set after these changes have been reviewed and approved by the Hebron Planning Commission."

John Holston Jr.

Chairman

One Citizen wrote into Salisbury News and said:

Hebron must have realized that the requests of citizens to postpone the public hearing set for Friday night on its Comprehensive Plan could not be denied! It is unbelievable that a municipality would have even scheduled a public hearing on a Friday evening, which appeared calculated to minimize attendance of citizens and officials wishing to testify. But....in Hebron, it's a different world!

The new owner will give you some of the seasoning rub that went on the Wonder Roast if you ask him.

If the residents are truly as concerned and involved as they portray themselves to be it wouldn't matter if the meeting were a Monday or a Friday night. The issue is too many people don't want to leave the beer alone for 45 minutes!
