House Democrats Clinch Healthcare Deal

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Democrats broke a logjam in President Barack Obama's drive to revamp the costly healthcare system on Wednesday when a group of party conservatives accepted a compromise that allowed a reform bill to advance in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Obama praised the compromise and said he was grateful that lawmakers "are working so hard to find common ground. Those efforts are extraordinarily constructive in strengthening this legislation and bringing down its cost."

Obama / Democrats always brings up the cost. It seems the cost game has more outs / meanings than there is holes in swiss cheese. Healthcare will not cost the tax payer anything. Health care will not increase taxes. Health care will not cost tax payers nothing for a decade. He wants to bring down the cost. Health care will be funded by cuts in Medicare. Anyone who believes this is the ones who are very nieve and uneducated. Has everybody forgot about NAFTA. This is the same political BS that Clinton pulled when he passed NAFTA and had it go into effect under another administration. He now claims he did nothing and is critical of NAFTA. Obama is stating no cost for a decade,10yrs. That means when the cost kicks in and screws the tax payer he will not be in office. Obama will then claim it never increased or cost the tax payer while I was in office. This is a political ploy. History is repeating itself, right Duck Around. It shows how much the public wants to be led instead of getting involved. Does anyone really want real health reform? Not if you support Obama's / Democrat's plan.
