Went last night, the gentleman who owns the shop was making the dogs himself, nice guy. Food was excellent, and the price was great. Fed four people for $12. Best part, it's walking distance to my house.
that building is NOT downtown & did NOT used to be a dentist. Its on the corner of Rt 13 & Naylor street (opposite corner from ponzetti's). back in the day it used to be a hearing aid place...

How could they miss out on selling a Chicago style hot dog? Those things are great!

is it better the Sams, I would assume so, and its LOCALY OWNED!!!!!, I'm not going to say that I odn;t shop at sams, but its people like Sam walton who killed main streets, and ruined family business, and manufacturing, I will always support local over Supperstore
I guess if I had a choice between joining Sam's Club for 40 bucks in order to buy a hot dog for $1.81, I'd go for the $3 hot dog at this new place.
Why continue a membership in Sam's when everything is 6% cheaper at tax free BJ's in Millsboro?

I'll be trying the dogs. Fractured Prune is right across the highway from SU where the Wicker Warehouse used to be. I love their food, but I will stay loyal to DeVage's. Just writing this makes me hungry for their doughnuts and subs. If you haven't had their old-fashioned fresh made doughnuts treat yourself and your family tomorrow morning. they are on Main across from Country House.
Just got back from there; what a dog! I couldn't finish it! Worth every penny, but I won't tell my workers about it; they'll all want an afternoon nap after lunch!

The Fractured Prune has passed inspection and should be open sometime next week. 2 of my friends are the co-owners.

Sweet! I'll be there! I do also like Devage's (just had a breakfast sandwich there and it was mighty tasty), but I'm sure I will find a way to fit the Fractured Prune in--what's a few more delicious calories?
FYI there are a few of these buildings around town. They were originally Delmarva Cleaners.
Hot dogs taste really good, especially with condiments. Kids love hot dogs. The whole hot dog experience was ruined for me one day when I read the "Nutritional Information" on the back of a pack of hotdogs. They are 70% fat! I think Weenie's is an example of a great Recession-era business.
