Unfortunately I know the answer to this question. My grandfather died of lung cancer and he initially was on the list for a new set of lungs; however, he made the decision that, due to the astronomical cost and his age, some one else would benefit more from the lungs he was waiting for. The surgery, pre-op, post-op, medication and therapy was estimated to cost over $285,000. He also did not have insurance that would cover such a procedure. He left this world knowing the one more person survived because of the opertunity he gave up.

Now as for the tickets, I'm going already so I do not need them. I also suggest that the winner of these tickets should donate the $60.00 that they would have paid to Chuck's fundraiser anyway.

Good luck Chuck-I may not understand what you are going through, but I certain understand what your family is going through!

Sorry, I have no idea and did not want to cheat by going to the site. As far as I am concerned, the cost is priceless and everyone should become an organ donor. The next organ could be for you or your loved ones and hopefully, that will never happen.
