Comegys would clearly be an ideal Salisbury mayor
As a fellow elected official, someone who works in downtown Salisbury and whose business pays taxes in Salisbury, it is my honor to endorse Gary Comegys for Salisbury's next mayor.
Comegys demonstrates qualities that make him an ideal mayoral candidate -- leadership, commitment and dedication.
Whether you agree or disagree on issues, you know what his positions are and why he feels that way. Most importantly, he will listen and understand yours.
He is progressive, a forward thinker. Take, for example, the agreement to connect the Salisbury and Fruitland water systems. Comegys initiated the discussion; Fruitland embraced the idea. Later this year, that project will be completed.
Comegys is committed to being an effective mayor. He has worked hard for two terms on the Salisbury City Council; that experience will be invaluable as mayor. He is committed to working with all parties on every issue that faces Salisbury.
He has demonstrated his ability to either compromise or stand firm. Don't discount his contacts and the positive light he sheds on Salisbury as a leader in the Maryland Municipal League, which helps protect the city's interests in Annapolis.
Retiring from the State Highway Administration, Comegys has demonstrated his life will be dedicated to improving Salisbury, which is large enough to merit a full-time mayor.
Being an elected official is not easy. Comegys understands; he has been criticized during his tenure on council but remained steadfast and diligent in his belief Salisbury can and will be a better place for all.
Vote for Comegys on April 7.

Greg,
I went to college with you and you prove that a college educated individual can be a real idiot. I hope the voters remember this when they go to the polls if you try to get re-elected again. What an idiot you are. MORON!
Greg is probably very sorry that he wrote this, and sorry that he showed the public how easily influenced he is.
Bay National Bank directors are probably sorry also. At least they should be.
why is greg even concerned? doesn't he live in fruitland?
Give it a rest Joe! The guy is entitled to his opinion, and Ireton's name wasn't mentioned once!
Let's see you try to write something without verbally abusing the person you are against. You can't do it!
That is simply speaking their mind, BUT with class and respect. Try it sometime!
Did you tell the health dept about that bathroom you added???
Greg Olinde: remember reading another blog about him a while back.
C'mon Olinde, isn't it embarrassing being just another loser trying to defend morons? One piece of advise for you, after Webster gets ousted YOU'RE next!
Greg has always treated the Fruitland people good, people get caught up in politics and sometimes lose focus and say things that history makes them regret. All in all Greg Olinde is a good person and has a nice family and IMO is not a moron!
Kerry, thanks for your opinion, MORON!
Greg certainly doesn't speak for Fruitland. After seeing the morons he has served with on the past city councils, he should know better than support commongeys. The man can't even speak proper English. And why the hell did Gary put campaign signs in Fruitland? what an idiot.
11:47 You are welcome Anonymous, that is a nice name to hide behind when you play childish name calling games, that is why things are like they are all words no action!
Since you can spell moron how about GED !
Greg Olinde should have been a lawyer, he's just as slick as one.
He should just worry about Fruitland and stay out of the nasty election in Salisbury. Now he has associated himself with Gary and all the scumbags associated with Gary. Not a smart move Greg.
