Who remembers Dougout Doug's farewell address to Congress after he was sacked by Truman? Barrie's is almost as malodorous.
Listen, I never liked Ms. Tilghman, but she did serve as Mayor of this city, and for that alone we aught to be a little more gracious.

Let me explain a little something to ALL of you trying to send in messages telling me "I" put up a photo in bad taste.
"I" did not go braless on TWO PAC14 shows in one day, Barrie Tilghman did. If YOU would like to contact the Mayor with your disgust, so be it but your comments will not go up here acting as if "I" have done something wrong.
She was standing at the podium making a speech, just as she did with her State of the City Address. This is the photo I have of her doing so. If you don't like it, send the Mayor a gift of a new Bra.

Douglas MacArthur's crowning moment as an orator came ion his farewell address at West Point about 10 years later. Here's the closing part:
"Let civilian voices argue the merits or demerits of our processes of government. Whether our strength is being sapped by deficit financing indulged in too long, by federal paternalism grown too mighty, by power groups grown too arrogant, by politics grown too corrupt, by crime grown too rampant, by morals grown too low, by taxes grown too high, by extremists grown too violent; whether our personal liberties are as firm and complete as they should be.

ANY woman of a certain age, say 13 and UP, KNOWS when the bra they put on does NOT protect against certain situations, like say a cold room.
Even with the sag, I'd say she's NOT bra-less, but she certainly didn't purchase her foundation garment (and YES, that's what they are called as a group) with either support or modesty in mind.
I'd recommend a cantilever support and heavy on the foam layer for a smooth appearance. (Any good construction worker knows how to get that job done) As for the Mayor, looks like a visit to Lane Bryant is LONG overdue.

I hope that her experiences don't prevent other good people to step up to serve the community.
I hope that when businesses consider opening in the Salisbury area, that political climate doesn't induce them make them move on to greener pastures (i.e. easier situations).
