Salisbury Police Department Press Releases

On January 23, 2009 at approximately 5:44 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department Community Action Team executed a search and seizure warrant at a residence on the one hundred (100) block of Delaware Avenue. Upon executing the warrant, the officers located a quantity of suspected “crack”/cocaine and paraphernalia used to distribute drugs. The below listed suspect was located at the residence and was arrested for the controlled dangerous substance violations.

ARRESTED: Sean Mychal Higgins, 20 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES:
Possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute
Possession of cocaine
Possession of CDS/paraphernalia (2 counts)

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200800046809

On January 23, 2009 at approximately 2:30 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received a call to respond to the Boscov’s Department Store for the report of a shoplifter. Upon arrival the Officers made contact with security personnel who advised that the below listed suspect had been observed by store employees taking a quantity of clothing and jewelry from the store without making payment. The property was recovered and returned to the store.

ARRESTED: Denise Irene Moylan, 56 years of age Eden, Maryland

CHARGES: Theft (over $ 500)

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200900002549

On January 24, 2009 at approximately 2:26 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police arrested the below listed suspect following the investigation of an internal theft at the Sports Zone. The investigation revealed that the suspect was involved in the theft of clothing while employed at the store, which he would later sell.

ARRESTED: Thomas Robert Dettbarn, 25 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES: Theft scheme (over $ 500)

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200900002622

On January 24, 2009 at approximately 2:38 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the Super Fresh Store on West College Avenue for the report of a shoplifting. Prior to arrival, the suspect left the store parking lot in a vehicle but was located and stopped by a City of Fruitland Police Officer. The suspect was positively identified and was arrested for the theft of meat from the Super Fresh.

ARRESTED: Anthony (NMN) Dickerson, 42 years of age Parksley, Virginia

CHARGES: Theft (under $100)

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200900002670

Are these the only press releases offered for over the weekend what happenned to the rest of thier calls.I know for a fact the Salisbury Police were at a night club in the northwood area for a brawl. I saw it!
Weapons of choice Knives, Baseball bats beer bottles.

3:02...it would be IMPOSSIBLE for them to put out a press release for EVERYTHING! Granted they put the measly crap out to the public and not the stuff everyone wants to know about, but It wouldn't be fair to ask them to put a PR out for everything that goes on! Even if it was a low crime area!
