John, That pesky Joe Albero came into town this weekend and took some more pictures. Can you get someone, ANYONE from Public Works to fix this D*&n sidewalk before the Daily Times picks up on one of the old Salisbury News articles!

Mayor, you told me in the past you didn't give a d&*n about Albero and you said to leave it just as it sits. As usual, I would expect the Daily Times to be calling about this as they now follow Salisbury News and they'll certainly be on top of this one since Albero has so many readers now. We're going to have to give up bottled water for two months if we get on this right away. The choice is up to you. I don't want to hear it when you don't have bottled water and you're subjected to drinking the City's tap water. Are you sure about this? I truly don't have time to add another project to my list. I'm already buried cchecking every one's phone records to see who's calling Albero in the first place.

This appears to be near the river and the Ramada. I know another city that took a dirty little river and made it a tourist destination, San Antonio, TX. Why can't Salisbury look into building a series of shops and eateries along this area of the river? It seems that Market Street and Brew River do well in their locations along the river. The city should really focus on the downtown area instead of annexing the north and creating one continuous city to Delmar.
Now that was funny.
9:20 a.m. - I agree. San Antonio, TX is a tourist destination. They have done a wonderful job with their riverfront and why Salisbury can't catch on is beyond me. Invite someone from San Antonio here and let them show these idiots downtown how to get things done if they don't know how.
They can keep right on drinking bottled water, bring them from home.
Is the water purchased from compeditive bids?
It would be much cheaper to have a few water filters installed. I know the water sucks. However let's cut the bottles and install filtered city water in the offices. It's really not bad filtered.
