Believe What that giant arms pushed the wings of the plane into the water. No that doesn't make any sense. I've never seen giant arms doing anything outside of an amusment park.

I believe God coupled with a good pilot made it happen.

I BELIEVE we need to give credit where it's due. If the pilot was not so skilled, chances are those people would not be here today.

Where was he on 9/11? Did he have the day off?

Hogwash! Which God are you supposing? Allah, Jesus, Buddha, Zeus, Mohammed, the Beatles?

I believe..and if you don't,that's your right and privilege in the USA. Can you imagine what would happen to any publicly announced non-believers in countries under the control of the Taliban or some ayatolla-styled dictatorship ? God bless America !!

Why doesn't anyone mention God's intervention when the opposite happens? If everyone on the plane had died, we'd be referring to this as an awful tragedy caused by the unlikely failure of both engines due to a collision with a flock of geese. Few would accuse God of smiting the victims.

No.

Believe what? Giant arms pushed the plane into the water, then for some inexplicable reason decided to save the passengers. Would it have not been more efficient for the giant arms to have just left the plane alone in the first place? There is nothing to believe or not believe. Something just happened.

I believe there was a skilled pilot and that planes can float for a while when landing on water. I believe that geese can happen to be flying in the direct path of an ascending airplane.

You want a miracle? That would have happened if the plane was able to fly with no engine power. Then I'd be impressed. But that's just me. If you other fine folks want to believe it was a miracle, have at it. We all have our freedom of speech and freedom of religion, and I respect that. I'm not trying to put anyone down; I'm just answering the question from my point of view. You are wlcome to yours.

so, god threw a goose into an engine, thus killing the goose, just to show off?

I believe that Sully is an excellent, skilled pilot who has had tons of training just for this type of thing and I believe that the good Lord placed Sully in the pilot seat of that particular plane. Miracles do happen and I hope the beginning of 2009 is an indicator of how the rest of 2009 is going to be....miraculous.

If all of the believers are willing to say that their God intervened to spare the lives of the passengers, what do they say when the all powerful God allows these disastrous events to occur in the first place.

i know who i would be thanking first..because i am sure i spoke to him on the way down asking him to save me...

"God is my co-pilot"

I bet Captain Sulley believes.

I guess you "believers" are OK with your "Loving God" killing all the other innocent peoplle on all the aircraft that didn"t make it. Oh, thats right, there was probably a homosexual on board.
