A Letter To The Editor

"Joe:

I have noticed a covered corvette that seems to stay in the downtown parking garage. Its by the elevator on the market street side. Its been there for months and does not seem to move. Which one of Barrie’s friends is getting free covered storage?"

I noticed it too! Do they have monthly rates there?

Yeah, what's the answer to this question, maybe more of us would like somewhere to park our vehicles out of the weather?

how about the motorcycle that sits in the cubby hole right across from the Health Department - that's been there for months!

yes - you can park in the garage for $30/month.

Sometimes that vet does move. and when its not there and i get to park in that spot... i laugh and laugh thinking about how pissed that person will be when they come back in the garage and see their spot is taken LOL

Cathy, you are a jerk. The person may actually be paying for a spot and you laugh cause you think you are getting over on them. This is what blogs do to people. Makes them paranoid, suspicious and vindictive. Print this Joe!

I recall a vette being in the location you described when I came to the carnival they had downtown. I parked near it and walked past it on the way out. Very nice car.

i'm not a jerk - i pay $30/month to park in the garage too! its open parking. i happen to prefer to park on the first floor on that side so when i get off work at night i can go out the rear entrance of the parking garage - its faster!

its definately not a storage facility.

you can buy monthly tags to park in the garage OR in the municipal lot. many of the residents and employees on the plaza buy them - when we lived on the plaza, we bought three months at a time. some of the employers on the plaza offer parking tags as an incentive.
