More Eastern Shore Justice

The charges against David Bruce Whetstone a 20 year old charged with assault, malicious destruction of property and robbery at the Royal Farms Store have gone to trial. He goes to court, in Wicomico County, pleads guilty and gets 15 years in jail. Then the judge suspends all but 8 years of his sentence and gives him 18 months probation.

Someone should have told this guy, if you are going to commit any type of theft crime you have to steal from the taxpayers of the county NOT a privately owned business. That is, if you don't want to spend time in jail.

Ok, so Ray Lewis, Kenny Townsend and all the other crooks didn't physically assault anyone but they did commit robbery and they did maliciously destroy the trust of taxpayers in this county. The only ones guilty of assault are the judges who sentenced those that have been tried already and the States Attorneys that have presented these cases in court. They are guilty of assaulting the intelligence of the taxpayers of Wicomico County.

You have to love the judicial system.

Somebody should have told that dummy to rob the county. He would have gotten only 6 months and a lot more money.

"White" collar crimes always steal more money than the guy robbing the local WAWA, but they always get a slap on the wrist. Wake up, bankers have just stole 3 trillion dollars from tax payers, they'll serve no time in jail. But if you sell Crack get ready for that 10 year jail sentence.

P.S. Joe according to the Tomasaski family/fan club he never stole from taxpayers since the landfill takes no money from the General tax fund. If you believe that BS story Paulie boy tells himself so he can sleep at night, then I got a bridge for you to buy in the small New York town of Brooklyn.

Ummmm, a quick reality check here. Why don't you run the records before you post this stuff? Whetstone has three separate felony level cases: two burglaries (22K06001025 and 19K06008226), which involve breaking into someone's home and it looks like the one you are talking about is a ROBBERY case, which the last I checked is a crime of violence (22K08000740). As far as I'm concerned a third offender who uses violence or threats of violence to steal deserves the kind of time you are talking about. Whetstone may be young, but that is quite a rap sheet if you ask me.

anonymous 6:29,

It's funny you mention that because I did say to Earlssister earlier that he may have had a history and the guys from the Landfill Case were first time offenders. Thanks for bringing that information forward because it does make more sense now. It doesn't make the decisions right though but it makes more sense.

Ok, so he's a 3 time loser, you are right, I should have checked. Now my point would be, WHY did it take 3 times for him to get any amount of time in jail?

If you think making deals to steal so you can collect your mortgage payment isn't a violent crime, think again. Every taxpayer in this county was raped by the Landfill Criminals.

And how many diferent times did they steal from the land fill? I bet more than three? Repeat offenders , all of em.

anonymous 9:09,

Look, I'm going to try to be as nice as I can here because I was going to BLAST you like there's no tomorrow but I'm trying to turn a new leaf.

Look, they were only caught ONCE! OK, I'm going to bite my tongue and not call you an Idiot or say your comments was just flat out STUPID because I want people to believe I can be a better man. So I won't say any of those things and I'll leave it for others to do so.

Wayne Gilchrest is stealing from us right now......paycheck, but NO REPRESENTATION.

Only caught once, but clearly they were stealing over a long period of time, I kind of agree with 9:29.

More attention needs to be given to the selection and election of judges. We want them to be fair but we also want them to do their job.

I wonder how many of Joe's bloggers went to the trial to show citizen interest.

The landfill cases were compromised to protect Sheriff Mike Lewis, who made an illegal stop and search.

It really does make sense, if you are going to steal something over $500 might just as well steal half a million or more. You even get treated better.

That's why I voted nay to every judge on the ballot this year.

The police will blame the DA, the DA will blame the jusdge and the judge will blame it on the over crowded prisons and correctional system, As the stomach turns bla bla bla

Joe when are you ever going to get us copies of how Rai Sharma had all the plumbing and electrical supplies to build his house billed to the county but delivered to his house. I am disappointed in you Joe, you haven't bothered to tell the taxpayers about all the money that Sharma stole from them too, possibly even more than what Ray Lewis and his buddies ever took. I hear there are invoices and pictures. Come on Joe, we count on you for all the news that is news around the area. I am not happy about what Ray did, but obviously people in our county knew that these things were bought and that they were delivered to Sharma's house. How did this go unnoticed or did it? How many other employees are doing the same thing?
