I Didn't Know This Rite Aide Closed

I can't believe I didn't notice this Rite Aide had closed on Mt. Hermon Road. This is a fairly new building. I wonder how many jobs were lost there too?

It's due to the merger with Eckerds -- the stor at Beaglin Park & Mt. Hermon Road (2 blocks away) has remained as a Rite Aid.

Well even if it did close. The new on in West Ocean City opened. If they are like normal franchises, if one closes they will most likely give you the option to transfer, or leave.

Just the like Applebees in West Ocean City, They closed until April, most of their help went to the Salisbury one.

None lost their jobs. They transferred to the other Rite Aides. There is also a new one that just openened on Pemberton/Nanticoke Drive. Check it out.

It's rediculous that we have so many pharmacy's. It seems like you can't go a mile without having one pop up before your eyes. THey threw them up quick and not there's several closed. what a waste

Yeah I don't understand, especially in Salisbury, why there are so many drug stores. It doesn't make sence to me at all.

Ouch! All the misspellings in these comments are making my head hurt!

What really gets me is that pharmacies are all over Salisbury, but there is no drug store in the mall.

Because they are billing insurance companies and medi-care like theirs no tommorow. Were a society addicted to pills.

With all these drug stores you would think you could get some service...NOT... Last night visitors to the dog show needed an emergency prescription.. ALL the drug counters closed at 7:pm, except Giant, which closed at 8:pm. Where do you go for an EMERGENCY PRESCRIPTION after 8:pm?? PRMC EMERGENCY ROOM. RIDICULOUS!!

The business plan for many of these stores is basically the same...if there is a drug store on one corner of an intersection the competition builds one on the other.
It is a complete waste of time money and energy.
Sprawl, sprawl, sprawl

A Drug Store somewhere on the North Side would be good. Of course there's always the one at Bi-State Blvd in Delmar.

You're right, 10:01 I cannot believe the grammar and usage errors that I encounter in most of the postings. I bet that most of those "foreinors" can spell the word, 8:15.

decision had nothing to do with the mayor you idiot! They purchased the new one on Nanticoke Road and did'nt need all of those buildings.

I have offen wondered why we need to many pharmacies all over Salisbury....I dont wonder anymore. I went to the doctors and went to drop off the Rx at one of these pharmacies and they need sometimes 1 to 2 hours or more to fill them. The LAST thing you want to do when you are sick is have to wait that long for a prescription to be filled. It was like that at a few places I tried to get it filled at.

11:42, what about Target and WalMart?

Merger or no,it is still ridiculous to have all these perfectly good commercial buildings standing empty all over the place....makes the area look shabby. And I agree, there is a REAL need for a 24-hour pharmacy in Salisbury.
There used to be a Thrift(Eckerd)drugstore in the Centre, adjacent to JC Penneys and it was convenient.

We called Walmart, Target, Walgreen and everyone in between. I called Apple at 6:45 and they suggested Super Giant and they were open until 8:00 p.m. That worked so unless you can find out another drug store. WE NEED a 24 hr. Open Drug Store

Walgreens always advertises they are a 24 hours pharmacy.. we finally get one in Salisbury and that one is not open 24 hours. I don't blame them, I'll be damned if I would work in that area at night.

There are TWO in Delmar. The Rite Aid on STATE STREE/Rt. 13, not Bi-State Blvd. and the other is Walgreens/Happy Harry's in the Delmar Commons Shopping Center off Rt. 54 (Line Rd).
