Let's remember that price is not everything. Please research where the gas comes from and who owns the business. I will never buy gas from that Shell. I will also never buy gas from and Citgo. Gordy? That gas is just fine coming from Exxon, but I won't buy from him because of price.

Chicken Man in Hebron, Shore stop in Hebron, Sam's Club, sometimes Wawa. These are the places that get my business.

With the prices plunging, competition is heating up. Hopefully the rest of the oil and gas related industries will follow suit and lowers their prices.

Funny how all the sudden, China and India have significantly dropped their demand for oil. Wasn't that the excuse we got for the price being so high?

Prices falling are a scary sign of the entire economy falling apart. Same thing happened before the Great Depression. Everyone thought it was good until they realized the ramifications. Prices fall because nobody has money, nobody's spending, buying, more jobs disappear. Not good people. Believe it or not, we need to get out there and spend. Not credit, cash. Holding off on repairs or necessary items for the house, go purchase things. Spending puts confidence back in the market.

Well 12:09 you give me the cash and I'll gladly spend it. Most of us have already spent our entire paychecks paying bills before we even get them.

If that is the case, then you are living beyond your means.
You will probably be in the group that when things get real bad will not make it through it if you are in that tight of a position now.
The signs have been there that all this was coming. Everyone should have been focusing on paying off debt and not incurring new debt.
That is what we did, and we are fine and will be fine I believe.
Sure, I'm somewhat stressed over things being like they are, knowing they could get worse, but we played it smart and got totally out of debt (affordable mortgage pmt. excluded) a few years ago and said no more to credit card debt.
The credit card debt is having a hand in killing us all.
