Why can't the republicans get this message out to the public? Why don't they slam this down Obamas throat? This is corruption at it's worst. This is evil like none we've ever seen. This is propping up the poor and shaking out every penny you can. THIS IS SHAMEFUL! But most importantly, this is unAMERICAN!
The Republicans can't get this out because none of it is true. It's just more smears in a desperate attempt to distance yourselves from the mess that your Cult Leader, Ronnie Raygun started with "trickle down" economics and deregulation.
I'll give you guys a chance to apologize to the American people for what you've done to our economy. Go ahead, we're waiting.

Prove it! This video receives such uproar because it is supported by facts and congressional record. I don't doubt that the GOP does have some fault in this, but the overwhelming responsibility of this mess belongs to the Dems. Anytime a $300,000 house gets sold to person who can only afford a $100,000 house; the sky will fall. The GOP on principal never gives anything away for free and is hardly a friend to the poor.
The video distorts badly.
The Dems have been trying to put increased regulation on FM and FM since 1994. They've only done it recently, and the effort was just too late. This whole mess really does land in the lap of the Bush administration and congressional Republicans.
Remember the oft quoted mantras:
"We must eliminate unnecessary government regulation"
"We must get the government off the back of business"
Just keep repeating those until you're broke.

By the way, not all affordable housing is purchased by poor people.
Not all the subprime loans were taken out by poor people. In fact, quite a number were taken out by the middle class who were convinced by the mortgage lenders that wanted to make more money and write more loans.
This may be just the beginning. A large number of no interest/low interest and ARM loans that were made have not reached their bump time yet and won't for another year or two. What then? Another bailout? Probably!
I use the term Dumbocrat for a reason. Facts are facts.

First of all I'd like to quote the talk show host, Rusty Humprhies: "If you want to make a conservative mad, lie to them. If you want to make a liberal mad, tell them the truth." This quote is so true just by the fact of reading some the comments on this story. All of these facts on this video are ABSOLUTELY TRUE. (if you don't think they are look them up for up for yourself) The video doesn't even go far enough to explain everything that happened. Right now, the only thing I want to see is Chris Dodd, and Barney Frank, being led out of the Capitol in shackles. Can you imagine how bad it will be if Obama gets elected and all his buddies who he is beholding to come to the White House telling him it's time to pay up. Scares the hell out of me.
