It seems Mr. Jim Ireton just opened a new Bank Account and while there's been no official announcement, my guess is he's done so to run for Mayor?
Jim, I know I'm going to hear from you in about 2 MINUTES from now but this City needs you BAD and an official Press Release would be great.

My amusement continues, I read this stuff because it is so "hometown" I feel like I know all these folks, and I love the banter...Jim Ireton is THE most intelligent, Honest, concerned, carismatic, knowledgeable, energetic and dashingly good looking (to add to his list of attributes) person that I have met in Salisbury. However Joe, you with a cigar in your mouth are hard to beat...

I understand he wants to rid crime and fix the broken police dept. I need to kow what else he believes in, what about Jobs, what about other development that needs to happen here. What are his qualifications? I understand it is not going to take much to surpase BT but still want to know. I have met Jim before and believe his heart is in the right place, he bowed out before because of the mess. Are you ready Jim?
