DELAWARE: Gas falls below $3 at some stations

WILMINGTON — Perhaps somewhat lost in the credit crunch and free-falling stock market, is the almost equally falling price of gasoline.
For the first time since winter, and just three months after topping the dreaded $4 a gallon threshold, a handful of stations in Delaware are selling gas for less than $3 a gallon.
At least a half-dozen gas stations in the Dover/Smyrna area have number "2" at the front of their gas price signs, according to Delawaregasprices.com, a Web site that allows motorists to post the highest and lowest gas prices in the state.
U.S. Gas on 461 N. Du Pont Highway in Dover posted the lowest price on the site -- an eye-appeasing $2.97.
Tony Singh, owner of the U.S. Gas station, confirmed the price Sunday, and gave even better news: "I'm dropping the price to $2.89 tomorrow."

I love Sam's... cheapest gas station I saw on 13 from Seaford to Salisbury...
