Joe, any word on how the Crime Task Force meeting went?
Not very well attended by members. Cowell was not present. Ewalt led the meeting. There was some talk about how there should be more time to explore the problem. The problem is CRIME as Debbie Campbell quickly reminded them. At the last meeting the one committee that was really getting stuff done was admonished for moving too quickly. What? I fear that the task force may be the window dressing that some predicted. On a high note, Sheriff Lewis has organized a trip to the Dover PD for Campbell's group so that they can see why Dover's crime is so much lower when the cities are so similar. The rest of the members were invited - and even the chief.
If Chiefy is going, I want to go too!
