Salisbury News Exclusive

A 95 year old Salisbury man hit his gas instead of his brake, slammed the vehicle in front of him and drove her right through the intersection, freaking the woman out!

The woman in the vehicle in front of this mans car works at a local Bank and thought perhaps an angry Customer was trying to get back at her and scared her half to death.

The two finally pulled over at the Seafood place on Riverside Drive and waited for Police to arrive. I had immediately called the SPD to report what was going on and was quick enough to get out there and capture the above photo while it was happening.

The poor guy couldn't even get out of his car without help and uses a walker to get around. The Salisbury Police Officer on the scene was kind enough to give the gentleman a ride home and his future of driving an automobile will now be challenged and he may no longer be able to drive.

I came to learn the poor guy has out lived his children and may need assistance down the road.

Fortunately everyone was OK but even I have to admit, it didn't look good while it was happening.

That woman must have a guilty conscience to think someone would be that upset with her. Maybe she will be a little nicer to her customers.
That old man definitely needs to be off the road. It's usually a decision you can't make yourself, because driving gives you a freedom that's not easily relinquished.
Praise God that a worse tragedy was avoided. This could have been so much worse.
