How Tall Are Your Weeds?
Right around the corner from Code & Compliance are these two locations facing Rt. 13. I keep hearing all the horror stories about violations for grass and weeds and then I see something like this and think, what's wrong with this picture?

About that first building in your pictures. Is that a house that was converted to some type of commercial building? Not only is that an eyesore but it looks like it could be a death trap if it ever caught on fire. Is that type of conversion legal? Isn't there any fire codes or building codes that prevent this type of renovations? I wonder if these people are FOB's or is the city of Salisbury that way behind in code compliance. Mr. Albero is there anyway that you can find out the answers to these questions?
Church St is, after all Louweasels pet project. Just look at it, beautiful isn't it? NOT. Tom Stevenson needs to take a ride down Clay St and look at that death trap. You can't see the porch or front door for the overgrowth. Something is rotting in Salisbury and its on the 3rd floor of the GOB.
man for a city that can complain about everything they cant take care or the weeds in the street but they can even complain about the gunk on your siding on the house. or a broken screen window not even in plain sight unless they go in your yard through your fence. I have heard those horror stories before.
Anon 1132 those lazy asses at Tom's Code Compliance Office do nothing but write a few tickets for a blade of grass in someone's sidewalk that the city should be maintaining. They don't go after the slumlord's rental properties any more. That office has turned into a waste of good tax money. There are enough rundown rentals in this city that need attention but they refuse to do their job. This city is an embarrassment. They should at least go after those run downed homes on Rt. 13 where millions of visitors ride by. Aren't we proud of our city. NOT!
The standards in this city are extremely low and it is a reflection on DingleBarrie, Bubba, Louweasel and their staff.
