It's 9:00 AM In Salisbury

So if ANYONE is late for work, this is why! That's right, during Rush Hour they chose to lift the Bridges. Idiots!

They can always take the alternate route. They can go up Cypress or Lake Streets to Isabella and follow the red brick, crooked road.

Follow the red brick road? To da ho house?

They always seem to open the bridge at inappropriate times.I think the operator just likes to piss people off.If you try the alternate route down Lake to Tilghmanbella Street it just creates a bottleneck jam and you end up wasteing more time!!

If da ho house is where you want to go then go for it. You can also follow the red brick road to Rt 13 and turn north or south to get to any other destination.

usually the alternate route is backed up too since everyone decides they will take that route.

i thought that is why they put station 16 on that side of town was because they don't raise the bridge anymore.....duh....

Rob, now you know that was just more of Barrie and Bubbas lies. That bridge will raise as long as Perdue wants it to. Even Barrie can't stop Perdue.

anon 10:05, What does Perdue have to do with the bridge opening?

Anonymous said...

anno 10:05 you dipshit, it is the bardges that cause the bridge to go up at these times.

The Wicomico River was in the same place way before Salisbury was even a thought. If it wasn't for the river Salisbury would probably not even be where it is at all. The river enabled commerce for many years and that is what brought people here. The bridge had been opening and closing for years before any of us were around so why should it stop now? Why should the businesses above the bridge be forced to change their ways? They have been pushing barges through town since before any or us had our first car.
