It is priceless,no matter how bad times are ,if not for all veterans who have served they would surely be much worse.

These were true men, no doubt. For context, in which US Wars do you all think my freedom was really at stake?

Earl's Sister:
Thank you for the message. However, I must inform you as I have several others on this site in the recent past, that FREEDOM really is free. It is free. That is the root of the word after all. If it isn't free, then it isn't freedom. Think about it please. I'm not trying to be cute here, just trying to be real. Freedom by definition is free. Otherwise it is a right.
Rights are given us by the government. It decides which rights to give us, and which ones to withhold. The soldiers fight for the rights of people in a country. Freedoms are totally free, otherwise they aren't freedoms.
In summary, Freedom is free. Period. Thank you soldiers for the rights which we Americans enjoy. By the way, which rights do we still possess?

Our freedoms are at stake everyday, in times of war and in times of peace. The battle to maintain our rights and freedoms is with the US Government, not foreign countries. It's not foreigners making the laws it's our elected officials.
