YES, I'M A BAD AMERICAN

I Am the Liberal-Progressives Worst Nightmare. I am an American.

I believe the money I make belongs to me and my family, not some Liberal governmental functionary be it Democratic or Republican!

I'm in touch with my feelings and I like it that way!

I think owning a gun doesn't make you a killer, it makes you a smart American.

I think being a minority does not make you noble or victimized, and does not entitle you to anything.

I believe that if you are selling me a Big Mac, do it in English.

I believe everyone has a right to pray to his or her God when and where they want to.

My heroes are John Wayne, Babe Ruth, Roy Rogers, and whoever canceled Jerry Springer.

I know wrestling is fake and I don't waste my time watching or arguing about it.

I've never owned a slave, or was a slave, I haven't burned any witches or been persecuted by the Turks and neither have you! So, shut up already.

I believe if you don't like the way things are here, go back to where you came from and change your own country! This is AMERICA .

If you were born here and don't like it you are free to move to any Socialist country that will have you.

I want to know which church is it exactly where the Reverend Jesse Jackson preaches, where he gets his money, and why he is always part of the problem and not the solution. Can I get an AMEN on that one?

I think the cops have every right to shoot your sorry rear if you're running from them..

I also think they have the right to pull you over if you're breaking the law, regardless of what color you are.

And, no, I don't mind having my face shown on my drivers license. I think it's good..... And I'm proud that "God" is written on my money.

I think if you are too stupid to know how a ballot works, I don't want you deciding who should be running the most powerful nation in the world for the next four years.

I dislike those people standing in the intersections trying to sell me stuff or trying to guilt me into making "donations" to their cause.

I believe that it doesn't take a village to raise a child, it takes two parents.

I believe "illegal" is illegal no matter what the lawyers think.

I believe the American flag should be the only one allowed in AMERICA !

If this makes me a BAD American, then yes, I'm a BAD American.

We NEED GOD BACK IN OUR COUNTRY!

How many contradictions can be in a single post? If you are a good American, you should believe in the Bill of Rights. The ideas in this post violate about half of them.

A good American, and a liberal, like half of the Founding Fathers and some of the greatest Americans in history.

I, too, am a proud bad American. I believe in protecting our borders and prosecuting those who are traitors and those who do not abide by our laws. I believe that Robin Hood was a thief and that Obama is one of his greatest supporters. OK, O'Malley, Reid, Pelosi, Mikulski and the lot of them too.

It does take a village to raise a child- unless the two parents are independently wealthy, don't work, take their child with them absolutely everywhere, and home school/otherwise isolate the family. The phrase "It takes a village" doesn't have to refer to welfare or subsidized childcare, or whatever other negative connatations the phrase has for some people. Our village is our supportive work environments, a caring childcare provider, the educational system, a pediatrician that we trust, good health insurance coverage, friends who would be there if needed, and family members tht provide additional childcare support, emotional support (and financial support if we ever fell on hard times). I don't see anything wrong with that- it means our children will grow up with a strong base of love and support- I can't think of anything better than that. We are a comfortably middle class family- we both work (it's necessary), we don't live extravagantly- and we are fortunate to have supportive employers and benefits such as paid leave. We would rely on our village a lot more if we were members of the working poor. We consider ourselves truly blessed- a much more American sentiment than some of those you have posted.

Amen brother. There are a lot of us out here that agree with everything you said. That sounds exactly like the way our country was in the fifties and sixties. The way it should be in a free country. But now the people are so use to getting government handouts,
that our paychecks are shrinking because of the money it costs to give them these handouts. Today there is too much Government involvement in our lives. Less government control of everything and more freedom thats the ticket.
And yes I still belive this is the greatest country in the world. So if you don't like that move to a different one.

WTF is the working poor? Are these the people that you look down your nose at but do your warm and fuzzy thing at christmas to ease your conscience? Are these the people that work hard everyday to pay their bills but don't have a fistful of credit cards to finance their vacations, christmas, birthdays? The ones that actually pay their way through life?

That term almost sounds dirty.

"I believe if you don't like the way things are here, go back to where you came from and change your own country! This is AMERICA ."

Or stay here and change this one. You can do whatever you want here including change things you dont like. Thats the point of this country. Of the people, by the people...DUH! And that means all the people. Maybe you are the one who should move if you dont like that...or at least take a college level history course.

I agree in a lot that you included here. You know, one thing that really bugs me at ballgames is the very cavalere way too many good Americans don't stand at attention and talk, scratch and disrespect our national flag and its anthem. I see this too much at Shoebird games. And I also think that if your asked to sing the national anthem at the game, do it straight, without your own embelishments!
