If you haven't been following the Posts about Lynn Cathcart and her outburst EarlsSister posted yesterday, you haven't seen the SPD Wives going off about broken promises. There has also been talk from my other Post referencing Brotherhood and the lack of Officers being able to respond to back up one of their own at a scene where gun shots were fired recently.

I find it important for everyone to see that the Officers and their Wives are fed up. I have spoken to numerous Officers who have had it up to their eyeballs. Promises have been broken and the raises they were supposed to get have been taken away.
Look, I have said it in the past and I'll continue to say it now and in the future, their leader Chief Webster SUCKS as a leader and the mere fact that he bows down under pressure and doesn't fight for his men and women is pitiful! He's in it for his own paycheck and if the WCSO had LEOPS I can guarantee you almost every SPD Officer would walk in a New York Second!
More importantly, remember Comegys, Dunn, Cathcart and Shields going off when the Developer reimbursements came into play and Campbell stated it was in the contract that they did NOT have to pay them unless the City was financially secure? They ALL went off saying, what does that say about the City doing business with Developers if we don't pay them?
Well A-Holes, what does it say when you agree to pay the Police and Firefighters and you turn your backs on that agreement? Here's my biggest question. What does it say to YOU taxpayers when you voted for Comegys and not Spies? Remember that because the Firefighters stood behind a real man who would have taken a bullet for these guys while Comegys would have thrown Campbell in front of the bullet coming his way, so to speak. I didn't park in a Handicap Zone, right Officers? Is Comegys telling the truth or is he lying?
It's time to remove these people come the next election. It's time to MAKE Comegys SUFFER having to sit the rest of his term on Council being voted down 3-2 as well as Louise Smith. How much do you want to bet the Police and Firefighters will support the Candidates Cohen and Campbell support?

A very good post -- maybe it will help to rally the folks in Salisbury, who are the ones who caused the current situation by electing Bubba Comegys instead of Tim Spies last year. Sure, they also elected Louweasel Smith, but that was because of her misrepresentation about who she was and her agenda, which was "hidden" to say the least.
Look for Cathcart's spouse ("Don") to run for the Council against Ms. Campbell in next year's election. He just retired at SU.

SPD & their wives are just a bunch of crybabies, maybe if the SOBs did their job instead of hanging out at Ihop and Johnny's Sub & Sundae Shop or sleeping in their cars they would deserve a raise.

highest calls for service on Eastern shore and lowest paid as well. Where does someone see these guys eating more than 1 or 2 officers at a time? I guess they are also expected to work 12 hour shifts and not get a lunch break huh? I am sure lots of people work those hours, but they get holidays, weekends, and nights off as well as a fixed lunch break. Anonymous 8:04, do you even have a job? Probably not or you wouldn't complain about officers getting lunch breaks. Great respect and many prayers go out to all officers in our area and their families.
Should Don Cathcart make his bid for Debbie Campbells seat remember these things.
1.) He was happy to pay a 14% tax increase.
2.) He, like his wife, will not support budget cuts to fund public safety.
3.) He will use his LEO son in law as a tool to win the support of all LEO's.
Campbell and Cohen have stood by the officers and firefighters and the citizens consistently.
Bubba, Lynn and her husband Don go where the political winds push them for one year, but are sell-outs to the Barrie-Developer-Slumlord Axis of Evil.
Tell everyone you know, because you KNOW they will do EVERYTHING in their power to throw the next election, too, just like they did using the students against Tim Spies. Ironically, Spies' progressive ideas would have been right up the students' alley while also helping the neighboring areas.
But the young are as easily fooled as we old folks were about that lying Louise Smith.

My heart goes out to you all, I know what its like to be over worked and underpaid, its Salisbury Period. Maybe they should go on strike! As far as Anonymous 8:04, give me a break! How could you be so selfish to make such comment, I bet you were on to complain when Joe posted that Salisbury is top 10 most dangerous city's! Stop being a hypocrite. Joe tell the city what they need to do, to help these officers and there families! Like, who other then the mare can we write that's not in Salisbury, that would listen to concerned citizens

Think about filling up the council chambers on one of their Monday night meetings. Make the council majority look you in the eyes and watch them squirm as you each get up to let them know what a disgrace they are. Who knows, maybe even the mayor might be present to get a dose.
