Why are we paying taxes for the AI&G? Isn't this the same group that wants another free building, Station 16 or do I have the wrong arts group? Either way, why are we paying taxes for them?

Why does Paul Wilber need more money? He's been paid over a 1/4 million this year already? Is he defending more of that piss poor legislation he wrote? We really need to get rid of him and hire an attorney and put him on staff.

Why was insurance overlooked? You know you have it to pay so why was it overlooked? Even if the premium only comes due every 3 years, Pam Oland is a CPA, why did she over look this premium? Does she know what a tickler file is? Better yet, does she know how to use one? Does she know how to set up alerts on her computer? She needs to be replaced as well as reported to the Accountants Grievance Committee. Yank her license.

Every week it's why, why, why and all we get are bullshit answers if we get any answers at all.

Where do we get more?

Sir:

The shocker is the legal fee increase -- it is item 3 in the memo and 4 in the Ordinance. This looks like an increase of more than one-third of the original budget. Why???

Somebody needs to look at what they pay Ed Baker for his excellent representation for the County and then make sure Wilbur isn't paid even half of that. He drafts laws that don't fulfill the legislators' intent and then he charges us to defend his poorly written laws. Has anyone turned him into the State Bar yet? Also, on the Schumaker pond expense, why on earth would you pull funding for an item you know you have to pay, "to balance the budget." That seems both dumb and dishonest. What other items were not paid to give the illusion of a balanced budget?

Doesn't even include the code and compliance department going over budget? How do they intend to fund that, with more amendments later down the road?

The next council meeting is gonna be "VERY INTERESTING". They asked for donations for the firehouse and got cracks all over the floors. I never heard of any government entity accepting a building of this magnitude with those problems.

Whoa horsie, did they not teach english grammer at the college this author attended. That memo is riddled with errors. Aren't we proud.

budget was never balanced or with the appearance of balance.
remember the reason for the 14% tax increase? the attempted increase in water/sewer?

Anonymous said...

The 14 % increase for water/sewer is to take care of the mayor and her cronnies who are so full of shit.
