Republican Congressional Nominee Andy Harris Searches Shore For 2nd Home

While the Daily Times had an article referencing Senator Andy Harris possibly purchasing a home here on the Eastern Shore, they never contacted Andy or his immediate Staff for the facts.

For the last 20+years, Andy and his family have been vacationing on the Bay and on the Shore. Every Summer, Andy and and his family spend a week on a boat on the Bay traveling up and down the Eastern Shore. Over the years, his family has fallen in love with the beauty and the people on the Shore. They have been thinking about getting a second place on the Shore for years and the timing finally just seems right.

Andy will be representing the entire first district and having a home on the Shore will help him do just that. This will also give him much more time with his family which is something he cares very deeply about.

There was talk in the Daily Times article that he was considering Cambridge. Andy has not settled on any place in particular and his search continues.

Where ever he settles down here, we welcome him with open arms!

He's probably too smart to buy in SBY, what with the dysfunctional government and all.

How about the "Drill Academy" building -- that would be some really creative recycling!!!

And it can be bought cheap.

Joe:

I'm sure you have convinced him that it's better in Delaware, right?

Louise Smith is trying to sell him on Salisbury -- LOL Louweasel.

PS - don't tell him about the Mayor, or he will never buy a home here.

Andy,

Come on down to Crisfield!! We have condos right on a working waterfront. You can watch the watermen bring in their catch right from your balcony. Also you can have a chat with them and see what they need.

joe, you do realize that once Harris is elected he will have nothing to do with you right??

No, No, you have it all wrong. You see, Andy is a Republican, not a Democrat. It's the Democrats that forget where they came from. Andy is a great guy, his Wife is a wonderful woman, his Children didn't fall an inch from the tree. Nice try though.

So what if he buys a second home on the Eastern Shore. His home is in Baltimore County where the votes that elected him came from.

Send him to Pocomoke.

We have brand new waterfront townhouses for a song.

As a bonus you only have to walk 1/2 a block to score refreshing crack cocaine...

Don't let this information out, cause some elected official (or FOB or FOM)will buy some property for a song, get it appraised for three or four times what it is worth, then try to sell it to Andy.

As an added plus, you can see the horizon straight across if one leg happens to be significantly longer than the other.

Bayboy:

Is the water rising that much in Crisfield or are those condos sinking . . . glug, glug, glug!

does he think we will vote for him just because he is looking at houses in the area?

First of all he'll earn your vote. Secondly, you'll accept him to the Eastern Shore, just like everyone else did you and your family.

This guy actually thinks there are those of us who will vote for him based on where he owns property! The one thing that will keep Republicans voting for him is the fact that he is from the Western Shore and we here on the "shit house" side always get the bottom of the barrel. I do not care that he is Republican. It is sad to think that he is making this real estate investment to only grab Republican voters from the Eastern Shore. I will give him a chance to prove that he is worthy of my vote, however, this "house hunting" is leaving a bad taste in my mouth.

You shouldn't make it so obvious you're visiting this site, DOUG.

Doughie is back? Guess he doesn't have much to do in his spare time now that he lost his fake job at step-daddy's insurance agency.
