The item which jumped out to me was City Attorney (Wilbur?)...how much does the city pay, and for what? This is amazing information. They approved a budget, supposedly balanced, only to go back and amend it later, thereby unbalancing it, assumably.
What kind of hijinks is this? These people are unbelievable, even for a skeptic like me.

Doesn't even include the code and compliance department going over budget? How do they intend to fund that, with more amendments later down the road?

Looks like C&C are being blackballed once again. Their requests for items to be put on the agenda were once again omitted. Dare I say denied?

So, I'm reading that the gov't. submitted a budget, made a big deal out of balancing it, knowing that they were going to "amend" it later, more quietly. Because we're idiots we allow them to. Shame on us, the taxpayers and voters.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to hire a full time Attorney for the city?? Make him or her a full time city employee?

What is a good salary for a decent attorney?

Not to worry, sports fans.

Budget amendments require a 2/3rds vote of the entire council -- that means 4 votes for this absurdity.

LOL Barrie and Bubba.

I feel certain that Campbell and Cohen are fuming over this attempt to CYA over the improprieties they discovered. And giving Paul Wilbur any more money is preposterous! He should be paying the city back for all his poorly written legislation and defense of same! What a jerk!
And as for the 2/3 = 4 votes, what do you want to bet Louise can't count that high? Or will say since it comes out to 3.33... persons, it should be rounded down! (She would be wrong; it doesn't work that way when it comes to votes).

Good God, what have we turned loose here? Looks like the budget is totally useless, if they can make so many adjustments up and we like fools will let them do this to our tax dollars. This next City Council meeeting should be a real jewel!

Believe it or not sports fans, this puts Debbie and Terry in dire straits. They are damned if they vote for it and damned if they don't. If they vote for it they'll go against everything they've stood for to this point. If they vote against it they'll be labeled obstructionists by the puppets and the witch.

I say, BE OBSTRUCTIONISTS! It's time someone said no to these idiots.

JUST SAY NO! The people will get over your obstruction and be grateful for your vigilance as well as protection of their tax dollars.

Screw them all. SAY NO!!!

The Monday night meeting SHOULD be a jewel, and it would help if citizens would turn their butts out in force.

Folks, we've got a couple folks up at that table who have taken a beating for us. Let's stand by them!

Thank you Councilmembers Cohen and Campbell, and team. There is hope, fortunately the incompetentence of the Mayor and the puppets and most of her adminstration is coming to light.
Anyone in our fair city that allows this to continue has got to either be on the "payoff's" list or not paying attention.

Go for it, you are not obstructionists, it is clear that you and some other folks, including Joe are trying as hard as you can to stop this corruption and lies and mismanagement and incompetency.

Folks, they need some help and support. Or.............you can have more taxes, more pollution, more incompetency and more lies. Just sit at home and complain, and watch our city be ruined.
