Common Sense Does Exists Somewhere In America

Asking people to speak English IS NOT discriminatory in Philadelphia. Willie Don would be proud. More from WPVI-TV Philadephia. For the record, I always take my steaks "Whiz Without."

This week I called a hotel to make reservations in Virginia. (Yes, the USA)....Not one person at the front desk or even the manager barely spoke English. It was very difficult to understand them and they were getting a little upset with ME because I could not decifer what they were saying. If I was in a foreign country to work or live, I would learn how to speak their country's language. Needless to say, I ended up not booking a reservation at that property because of the language barrier! And the rudeness they exhibited over the phone.

Try booking a room in a National Park.

The Grand Canyon has more Eastern Eupropeans than the Ocean City Boardwalk.

Yellowstone was like little Romania last year.

Our college kids don't want to work for $8.50 an hour they want the big bucks.
