A RealClear Opinion Research poll released Thursday found 40 percent of families are more likely to choose to homeschool their children or engage in virtual learning once the coronavirus pandemic subsides.
The survey asked parents, “Are you more or less likely to enroll your son or daughter in a homeschool, neighborhood homeschool co-op, or virtual school once the lockdowns are over?”
Of the 626 parents who responded, 40.8 percent said they were “more likely” to do so, while 31.1 percent replied they were “less likely.”
With political party as a factor, 45.7 percent of parents who said they would be “more likely” to homeschool identified as Democrat, while 42.3 percent identified as Republican.

Heck no. I will be happy to get my kids back in school. home schooling takes to much of my time and effort .
Most already do.
Small class size.
Better setting to learn.
Safer than being in or riding a bus to school.
A teacher who cares about YOU.
No need to buy high dollar Chinese made Nike attire.
Don't have to deal with inept teacher's.
Kids who are home school test better.

Sad. They're not worth the effort.
I’m not home schooling. Worcester county has great public schools (in our experience). I am not qualified to teach, I want my child in school as soon as possible. I have no patience and so work full time so home school would be a huge disservice to my child.
If parents are smart, they will absolutely home school.
Liberals will hate this poll but probably open the schools after reading it.
Home schooling is not allowed in single parent households. There are a significant number of these on the lower shore.

Just look at all the violence that happens there.

Yea, I mean, who the hell wants to spend time with their kids and teach them things?!
There is money to be made teaching your own kids, the federal govt. has a program to give parents funds for teaching.
