They’ve been on the way down

Hi Joe, with all the talk of tyranny lately I thought it might be good to let your viewers know that the Senate voted to allow the FBI to access your internet history without a warrant.

I can't stand those assholes but yea, come on down.

SOMEBODY needs to show some guts and stick it into these out of control politician's faces.

Fabulous. Restaurants are open. Can’t wait to see you.

It will never ever go away. Years ago a friendly gesture to City Hall was ignored and now we have this nonsense and additional expenses each year as prevention. If City Hall would have embraced rather than attempt to enforce their muscle.....maybe just maybe.

But I'm Monday morning quarterbacking and that's not allowed around here. Just jail them all...regardless.

Sad...indeed.

Maybe these millennials do have some balls. They might be the ones that stand up to this tyrannical Bullshit. If I had an H2O car I'd join them. Strength in numbers.

OCPD will be in NO mood to fool around with these people.
Mainly because it is complete and total anarchy in the bar and restaurant scene right now in Ocean City, and the cops will have their hands full tonight already.
EVERY bar we passed on Coastal Highway this evening had crowds drinking outside the bar.
Coastal Highway looked like Duval Street in Key West!
"Carry-out" actually meant "drink outside".
Nobody is leaving the premises. What the cops will do - what they might be expected to do - is unknown.

It's been that way since the Patriot Act. They do have to get approval from the FISA court as if that means anything. It was an amendment requiring a warrant from the FISA court that failed. The dem that sponsored it said it would prevent the President and AG Barr from going after the admins perceived political enemies.

the group at rofo are all locals. They are heading to oc to simply cruise the strip.

This is a great opportunity for both the town and the h2oi community. The town needs business and you have these kids that want to show up and spend money even though the 'locals' despise them. The car community needs to not act the fool and show the town they can converge support the economy and do it with some respect. Ocean City doesn't understand how big this unsanctioned show could grow if they tried working together with car community and not act like this is wagontrain of gypsies. Biggest show on the East Coast if they worked together.

Stay out of OC h2o rice burners. We don't need your bad behavior and lack of respect for laws.

Sorry 9:08. Just ain't gonna happen.
It's would be like having a "People That Love Fireworks" convention, but ya gotta promise not to set any off while you're in Ocean City.
Somebody is going to light a fuse!
No, the H20i people come here to show off their cars and to have a good time.
Sadly, that "good time" means creating havoc with the Town and the Police, not idling down Coastal at 30MPH all night long.
Ya gotta light that fuse.
It's just the way it is.
Weren't you a kid once?

9:08 - OC has already reached out to them and the message is clear - obey the law. If you choose not to do so, there ae consequences.

they are here...they are annoying...they DO NOT EAT AT LOCAL RESTAURANTS!!!! They eat at WaWa and Royal Farm...then park in the Food Lion and Acme parking lot in between burnouts.!!the issue is "ME ME ME" they dont care its horrible to listen to MOST of the night, none the less dangerous!! all about them looking "cool", showing off...WHITE TRASH!The America my Grandfather and Father went to war for, is gone, this new America is disgusting as in Cops have zero teeth in a matter where these little shits can disrespect and get away with it, instead of having their bitch ass mouth slapped before it eats pavement!!!!!

Happy Saturday Idiot! It's the return of Basement Guy! Us Morons have missed you.

Have you all actually been? Or do you just read the reports on here and on tv? I've been every year, and every year 2 times a year to the cruise in. Guess what, the majority of the people are nice at both events. Everywhere you go can be and will be a-holes. These people don't have the stereotypical civic with a muffler. These are high dollar cars, money I would never fathom investing in a car. But, it is what they love. You talk of taking people's freedom away all the time. As a lot of people cry they want bars open to socialize, these people want to take their prized possession and talk with people. Most of the time it is so full they can only sit and idle in traffic. That is the reality of it.

Anonymous said...

@9:08 I agree. They are missing out on a lot of money.

Anonymous said...

That shows your age and lack of knowledge. Saying "Rice Burners", you have no clue what goes on there.

Anonymous said...

They took my Freedom away by doing that. Most people on here like to shout that, but when it happens to others they are fine with it.

Anonymous said...

With any event or just a large group of people, a ignorant person will always exist. Do you penalize everyone? When the cruisin' (old cars) are here people act the same. Most of them good, some act in an ill manner.

Anonymous said...

You have a point, 10:49. Sort of.
Last summer a guy was arrested for giving his wife 'what-for' in a pretty serious domestic dispute.
They were here for the "Jesus At The Beach" Convention.
And no, we did not blame the entire convention.
Then again, the people at the event didn't all gather on the corner with about 300 people and yell, "Beat That Woman! Beat her good!!"
If they did, then you could pretty much blame the crowd, too.

Anonymous said...

5:49:

Nonsense.
The "consequences" are nothing less than a Badge of Honor to these people.
Mommy and Daddy will help pay.
(BTW: The solution is to take the car.
If you shoot a deer from your car - they take the car.
Sell drugs out of your car - they take your car.
Act the fool and put people at risk in your car - take the car.
See how fast they toe in line!)

10:43- I had a condo in north ocean city and got rid of it partly due to this. After the last 4 years of being a full time resident of ocean city, I was just fed up with this. I do not agree with you when you state how ‘nice’ everyone is. All I saw every year was a group of people that taunted and provoked the police, demonstrated just disgraceful behavior, and made a huge mess that we had to clean up.

I think there will be a big showdown on this in the fall. The legislation passed and the governor allowed it to move forward (3 days ago I think) - if round two of the covid 19 virus doesn’t hit about that time, I think things will get pretty nasty between the H2oi crowd and the police.
