Sen. Mike Braun (R-IN) told Breitbart News in an exclusive interview on Wednesday that the media and Democrat obsession with Dr. Anthony Fauci “shows what’s wrong” with Washington, DC.
Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), an ophthalmologist, said during a hearing on Tuesday that Dr. Athony Fauci is not the “end all” authority on the coronavirus response. Fauci said recently that if the country reopens too soon during the coronavirus outbreak, it will bring “needless suffering and death.”
Paul, as well as Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC), said that many parts of the country are ready to reopen and that the federal government has relied too much on Fauci as the single source for the coronavirus response.
Braun said that the reliance on Fauci as the primary source for the coronavirus response is symbolic for what is wrong with Washington, DC.
He told Breitbart News, “I think that it shows what is wrong with this place over decades where you have had liberal politicians, many so-called conservatives, end up rolling over and allowing the bureaucracy to get that strong.”

Fauci while brilliant is like many scientists lack any and all common sense. Their brains are hardwired to focus on science and nothing else. In Fauci's world the whole country should be shut down for forever because that is the best way to stop the virus from spreading. Their brains won't stray from science so they aren't capable of taking into consideration the economic impact. Really though that is the way it should be and is why the task force was not just members of the medical/science community. It needed to be a broad range of thinkers. But.... It's the way it should be because nothing else should influence science except science.
Fauci enjoys being the focus of attention so he naturally wants the world to shut down and pay attention to his advice. He has been exposed for what he is and the career politicians are changing the subject or ignoring the facts. Why do you suppose that is? Follow the money trail all the way to China.
Fauci hasn't figured out yet that "Chiner" as he calls it, has taken him for a ride. It's Chiner this and Chiner that. "Because of Chiner we know" this "because of Chiner we know" that he is fond of saying as if it's gospel.
The only thing ANYONE can say positively about Chiner is that they lie. Any info coming out of Chiner is to be suspect and any info they offer is to be highly suspect.
