DNC Chair Tom Perez Refuses to Condemn Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar for Anti-Semitism

Democrat National Committee (DNC) chair Tom Perez refused to comment on charges of anti-Semitism against Democrat members of Congress during an appearance on Fox News’ Special Report on Tuesday afternoon, after questions by host Bret Baier.

Baier asked Perez about recent controversies surrounding anti-Semitic comments by first-term Reps. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and Ilhan Omar (D-MN), as well as the association of the anti-Trump Women’s March with Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, who has a long history of racist and anti-Semitic rhetoric.

Perez did not comment on Tlaib and Omar, as the transcript — via NewsBusters — shows.

Asked again about anti-Semitism — “Is there a concern in your party about this threat?” — Perez dodged the question, pivoting to a false claim that President Donald Trump would not condemn riots in Charlottesville in 2017.

Big difference between anti-Semitism and anti-Israel. Israel is a wicked and evil government.

The Semitic People who live in Palestine are human like all of us. They should not be discriminated against just because the evil Israeli Government abuses and murders them.

Perez is a coward and a buffoon. How dare he not criticize anti- Semitism; he is afraid of the Islamists that are permeating the party. And by the way, where are the Jews in all this?

Dave T: I wouldn't expect anything less from a spineless, worthless, coward like Mr. Perez.

Perez was a member of O'Malley's cabinet, and hired for like job by Obama. His agenda runs strictly along racial lines. Words fail to accurately describe his poisonous views. He succeeded Debbie Wasswername at the DNC. Bad person.
