Citing Brennan’s involvement in the raid that killed 9/11 terrorist Osama Bin Laden, Rhodes seemed to suggest that proved Brennan was above reproach.
Robert O’Neill — the SEAL Team 6 member who went public as the man who fired the shots that killed Bin Laden — fired back at Rhodes, making an apparent reference to the other operators who carried out the mission alongside him.

Rob O'Neil is a very quick-witted person. I had a chance to meet him last year and we shared war stories. His funniest is about his role in kicking the Somali pirates asses made famous in "Captain Phillips". The bit about his interaction with a man in the 7-11 in Virginia Beach was hilarious. He was on his way (wheels up in 30) and stopped to get tobacco (a possible trade for negotiations) and some dude was complaining that our country wasn't doing a Goddamned thing about it. Rob said to him, "get the f*!& out of my way and we will!!"
And the strange turn of events on why he joined the Navy instead of the Marines. A twist of fate made one our nation's most recognized hero.
Never give up, Rob. The only easy day was yesterday.
And thanks for your service.
