Muslims in Sweden have applied for permission to broadcast the call to prayer, claiming the move would boost community self-esteem and assist with integration.
The Växjö Muslim Foundation submitted an application to the police requesting permission to send out a three-minute Islamic call to prayer each Friday from a loudspeaker attached to the front of a mosque in the city’s Araby district.
“We are just wanting Sweden to allow Muslims in Växjö to feel even more at home. The Islamic community should be proud of their culture, and not feel like they have to hide,” said Imam Ismail Abu Helal.

Why is this "news". As longas they dont break the noise ordinances, have at it. And if this does break the ordinance, more power to them to flex their political clout to change the local ordinance.
If they want it to feel more like home go back. But no, they want to change other country's to their culture. They are successfully changing the Swedish peoples way of life. You can see it happening in our good old USA. Cater to the illegals. The liberals way of thinking is we citizens are suppose to accept it.
If Sweden gives in on this, then their country is lost.
No, you are not visitors, you are invaders. Get out. Your call to prayer is happening in your home country.

Go back home to YOUR culture. Leave ours alone...All non-Muslim nations should adhere to this...
I pray for this onse great country Sweden. There government sold them out and it will be a fight to gain control and take their country back.
This country is headed in the same direction. Politicians don't care as long as the muslims will vote for them. We need term limits for all politicians
