State Fire Marshal Reminds Marylanders that Flamethrowers are ILLEGAL

February 2, 2018 - Due to the recent marketing of the internet sales of this item, State Fire Marshal Brian S. Geraci would like to remind Marylanders that possessing and using FLAMETHROWERS is illegal. Under Maryland Criminal Law Section 4-501 (b) (2) "Destructive device" includes a bomb, grenade, mine, shell, missile, FLAMETHROWER, poison gas, Molotov cocktail, pipe bomb and petroleum-soaked ammonium nitrate. A "destructive device" is defined as an explosive material, incendiary material, or toxic material that is combined with a delivery or detonating apparatus so as to be capable of inflicting injury to persons or damage to property.

A person may not knowingly manufacture, transport, possess, control, store, sell, distribute or use a destructive device in the State of Maryland. A person who violates this section of the law is guilty of a felony and on conviction is subject to imprisonment not exceeding 25 years or a fine not exceeding $250,000 or both.

Alcohol, Tobacco, & Firearms. The 3 most fun things on earth! And we have to have an Agency whose sole purpose is to ruin all the fun, LOL!

I'm going to sneak one by here or there anyway, though!

So does this mean we have to keep our semi automatic lighters locked up separately from our hair spray while transporting? lol

They're not illegal in Salisbury, because there's no crime here!##

ATF Should be the name of a quick shop, not an agency of the government.

If we are talking about Elon Musk's "Flame Thrower", I believe he has already found d the workaround.. "Some customs agencies are saying they won't allow shipment of anything called a 'Flamethrower,'" Musk tweeted on Friday night. "To solve this, we are renaming it 'Not a Flamethrower.'"

Take a jury trial.

And use the power of the citizens to tell these "everything we don't like or are afraid of is now illegal" Nazi's that blowing things up and running off 30 rounds at at time is actually a lot of fun.
A flamethrower? Doesn't sound too hard to make and sounds like a lot of fun, too.
Wouldn't you like to see the look on the face of the guy breaking into your shed as you come outside and light that thing up???
......and the jury says, "Nah....we're good. Meet you at Longhorn for dinner at 6."
Fireworks at 9.

Keep cheering.
