A former Virginia police officer and Marine Corps veteran has been sentenced to life in prison for sexually assaulting a child.
Former Richmond police officer Charles Church, 41, was sentenced on Friday after being convicted last July of object sexual penetration of a child under 13 and indecent exposure, The Richmond Times reported.
He was acquitted of sodomy and a second count of object sexual penetration.

He had better be put in solitary confinement. Or request the death sentence and not ask for any appeals.
